I love the fact that we can win Xgames park without flipping or flairs, shows that style is where its at if u can kill it as high as chase does. Always loved chase hawk
Sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
It is really interesting to see how engrained bike control is for pros who start racing as kids. Look at Scotty Cranmer, he started racing and had unbelievable bike control and versatility that I think can really even be in the same league as Chase. Even with that said, Scotty still specialized more in the contest style and spiced everything up with his insane technical skills. Great riding by both. Love and peace to the world.
I knew RobO when he rode Sevtrails. I was a local farmingville kid. He was much older. Being influence. Damm he let himself go. Get back on the bike Rob...
Am i the only one that came here because i thoght Tony Hawk had another son ? haha but the dude doe's have mad skill's on the bike tho. Actually glad it wasn't tony hawks son
Just because he's a pro and he has sponsorships still doesn't stop the fact that the ground will smash your skull, he's a big role model, should really wear a helmet. Not enough people do, really disappointed
It actually starts with your local scene. Local riders at a young age preach to other kids about wearing helmets in my town (a big riding scene) and a lot of them do! I can say I'm the opposite of disappointed with how it's conducted here.
Reece Ryan yeah unfortunately too many soccer moms and their spoiled little kids have over run that place and this younger generation have no respect they want to ride all day and not dig they screw something up and just walk away like no big deal left and right slacker still run but hardly anybody rides right line and main line got torn down years ago which sucks only got to hit once
I really cant understand why people think he is ''soooo good''. I think in an 8 min video of which the majority was footage of him riding, i think i could count 5 or so basic tricks, of which the hardest was a whip on a double. He won an Xgames by just airing high with tabletops. Does anyone else think that's a joke?
+BMX Is Love BMX is life ever heard of style and flow? riding is judged by these things too. not just barspins and tailwhips. this guy has like 20 times better flow and style than someone like stevie churchill (no hate) so im not surprised by the fact that he won the xgames
I wouldnt call pulling basic tricks style, anybody can do that, seriously....lots of people can air as high as him with a mean tabletop. Ive seen lots of people at my local skatey's pulling a huge air gracefully whiping in and out, but then they do the same thing with a barspin and you're like holy shit! Judging chase and stevie is a little off considering they are totally different riders. But if you were to put another park/dirt rider next to him like pat casey or ryan guettler the contrast is more justifiable I Think its a little backwards...when you're like me and you, you want to learn more and more tricks. Just the basics arnt enough, they arnt ass badass as truckdrivers or a barspin to tuck,. So everyone looks up to the pros to learn and watch them pull all these amazing tricks you want to learn. Like theres kriss kyle doing these hectic flairs up the quarter to manual 180 into a quarter or drew bezanzon doin mean 360 whip to barspin over a huge box or ryan nyquist doin a stylish 360 one handed xup over a double... and then there is chase hawk just doing some airs. You dont watch edits to see someone go up and down some ramps, we want to see some tricks the average person cant do. Thats why they were chosen to go pro! To be pro means, to be thrilling, daring, insperational, to push boundaries, not just doing a whip over a double or a tabletop air etc. Hez good but do see what im saying.
actually i see what you are saying and youre probably right maybe they made him win xgames so it would be something new, not just trick machines winning like sandoval etc. but i see your point and if i compare him to tom dugan, tom is alot better.
yea maybe the judges were getting bored of judging the same kinda runs year after year with these guys pulling the same big combos and then there is chase just being all smooth and graceful and shit and the're like ''wow something different?'' haha

dang chase, proper respect. cool to see all the love. 9th street seems like a really special place
I remember watching props years ago as a teenager and always loved Chase’s style and flow.
Saw him regularly at 9th st back in 02-04. He was a badass then.
I grew up racing with chase at capital city. Really cool nice kid. Smoothest style ever

Old badboy Matt is still the bmx rider of all time
Love the kid but love the dad!!
true
Chase hawk and tom dugan were my influences as a kid
That almost seems not fair that a last name of Hawk gets you instant sports ability.
Great comment even six years later.
He's 27?? He looks and sounds like he's 17
I was born 1 decade, 1 year, and 1 day after him, that makes me feel special
Style matters. It’s not what you can do but how you do it. Dude just airs a quarter & it looks better then a backie whip or something
That's crazy
realy good moves
he seems like an Acura tl kinda guy
Did i just see Chase do a whip?
It shows my home town skate park... Matt Hoffman action Sports park @ Okc
Lucky, when I rode in OKC, the only bike park was Matt's private park, but the dirt scene was big. Lot's of digging.
I knew RobO when he rode Sevtrails. I was a local farmingville kid. He was much older. Being influence. Damm he let himself go. Get back on the bike Rob...
Badass rider tho, no doubt!
Swagtastic rider! Cool too know about how it all beging and what is now
Do yourself a favor and stop saying swagtastic. Lame homie...

OMG ALL MY LIFE I SAY CHASE HAWK IS LIKE DEWEY OF MALCOM hahahahaha its he sameee when he's was boy

Twenty ... Seven...

None of the new dudes on Cult are even close to being as good as Chase. Sorry Cory and Preston.
First comment
Drew Bezanson is better....
Woah, how fat is Morales these days?
