You forgot to test it on heavy load area like white night and echo swarm . I suspect the fps will drop to 60

I find an excessive CPU temperature of around 75 degrees and I have more or less the same configurations as you, an i7 9700k

    So it bottlenecks it?
Was thinking of building new pc but turned out that 8700k is still fine on 1440p, should i go for new build on AM5 or stick to my 8700k pc and upgrade the gpu only considering that im on 1440p 240hz, what do you think?

well depends if you think about upgrade for good gpu and wanna keep that upgrade for like 5 or 6 years better get new cpu, i have only this 4080S on 8700k cuz i didnt bough this card, and got +/- 90fps + in all titles even with this cpu
