I used to hang out at these studios all the time. A friends band played in this same facility back in 1997-2001-ish. These garages/studios were located at 24th St. and Chambers in Phoenix, AZ. During the day, it was just a normal storage space for businesses... at nights and especially during the weekends it turned into a big party/band atmosphere. Bands like Core/187/Sacred Reich/Soulfly/Unleashed Insanity/Pelvic Meatloaf ect. Played all the time at Mason Jar/Boston's ect and would always practice and play sets here at the rehearsal pad before shows and have kegger afterparties after the shows. Soulfly's first ever show was at Bostons in Tempe. So many drunken parties here. Soulfly guys were regularly hanging out/ bumming cigs. It was a really cool vibe. Didn't care for them particularly as I liked older Sep better, but still, this was probably some of the funnest times I've ever had.
I was curious and looked it up on Google Maps. I haven't been to this location in about 18-20 years. Since the "scene" died down back then... They are probably just regular storage spaces now, for any of you that were there back in the day, this is what it looks like now. The 3rd door on the right hand side is where Soulfly played, and where this entire video was filmed there and in the parking lot. www.google.com/maps/place/E+Chambers+St+%26+S+25th+St,+Phoenix,+AZ+85040/@33.397784,-112.0269267,3a,75y,11.49h,68.42t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1skctfWIeC1Q_mHvPG6f7riA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192!4m5!3m4!1s0x872b0fc64b2ade77:0x5dee7481741f0a4f!8m2!3d33.3977804!4d-112.0267765
Man I used to have that Soulfly soccer shirt. Bought it at the Metro in Chi-town at one of their shows in the late 90s. Dunno what happened to it, wish I still had it.

Thanks for your brutal metal and more. Greetings from Rotterdam Feijenoord. I no your a big fan of soccer. Respect to the tribe!
Was that Max's car out front?
logan
This bass line looks familiar. I guess that Evanescence popular song was totally built on it.
Logan gave up machine head for this ? The burning red would’ve never existed if he stayed with machine head
I still can't understand how Roy played with his drums like that. Awkward set up man!!

Kkkk
Esse aí era puxa saco do Max de primeira. Mas não deu outra, em 2003 ele foi demitido do Soulfly pelo próprio Max.
