Would love to know how you’re able to adjust the time so quickly not sure how to select whole seconds so I have to do it by milliseconds and it takes ages haha
Thanks for the videos. With the S3000XL, are you able to alter the sample rate to get a lo-fi sound? Or can that only be done on the regular S3000 (the non-XL version)?
Copy that. Thanks so much! There was another video on RUclips that demonstrated this, but it was done on the original S3000, so I wanted to make sure the XL could also perform this function. Obviously still 16 bit, but the option to add just a little grit via reduced sample rate is 👌

Thank you for showing me how to set the loop function to HOLDms. Saved an hour of my life.
I'm glad you made this video. I find the manual nigh on impossible to follow! Thankyou
can this thing work together in a DAW? and does it load samples through midi or something or only floppy
Loads through floppy disk or a floppy emulator
great videos mate!
I was simply learning from manual and filming for future reference.
thanks simpler !

When sampling you can choose between 44100 and 22050, then you can resample (EDIT, RATE) to anything between 22050 and 65000
Gotcha. So when you go to resample, you can edit the sound and choose a lower sample rate to achieve sort of a "bit-crushed" sound?
Yes. I did it in "E-MU ESI-32 tutorial: digital processing" video (44100->7000). But it's still 16 bit.

There is a trick though.

Which source sound/track ??
Can you use the Akai mpc 3000 with this model?
Check vubeatz channel he uses S3000 + MPC3000
@@dreamwebspace so the s3000XL have sample wave like on the newer models where you can edit and trim it?
It's easier that's why many people use S3k to edit/chop then they load it into MPC
hello! where can I see on the screen how much memory is installed on my S3000XL?
Turn it on and look at bottom-right: 16Mwords = 32mb
