WHY RIOT IS NERFING W MAX JANNA

W max Janna applies too much damage for a champion in the support role, they tried to indirectly nerf Janna by taking away damage on AP support items (Mandate and Zakzaks) although Janna's winrate remain untouched. Her ability to poke against engage champs while safely disengaging is very annoying. Janna's roam set up is very strong and her movement speed is unmatched compared to any other enchanter!

I main Janna and I completely understand why they are nerfing her W, her poke is too safe and building her into Mandate is too good right now

i was playing janna offensively with W max like this for literally 10+ years and she never got a nerf on her W as big as this and also on the items she uses... i feel like im being forced to play her the way i dont want to, becuase now riot made the W max roaming janna unplayable... i dont want to play her as an enchanter, i want to play her as a roaming damage support but now im being forced to play her the way i dont want to becuase some idiot in a suit decided so...

Looks like I was right to main Sona. Her E Passive is much safer and arguably has a lower cooldown than Janna W with proper management.
Janna W max feels like a pub stomper strat. I climbed to D1 easily playing W max Janna, but people in Masters+ will know how to space you out and poke you out of lane. Especially since the meta ADCs hit like trucks e.g. Jinx, Draven. Janna will lose every W trade she attempts.
