If you like Pokemon, Stardew Valley, Studio Ghibli films, Legend of Zelda, nuanced crafting mechanics, and just generally good vibes, you will love Moonstone Island! The card battling is deeper than meets the eye, the NPCs are incredibly cute, and the conversation system is refreshing compared to just throwing items at people to make them love you. With over 100 islands in a procedurally generated map, you'll be able to experience a different path to completion on every new save! I can't wait to get back into this game!

I couldn’t resist and caught the eevee looking spirit. Turns out it’s trait or ability effects charisma and makes social stuff easier. Woot! Plus, eevee, lol.

the aesthetics are so cute! I love the collecting and crafting aspect and the NPCs all look unique (love them!) but not quite sure about the card/turn based battle system. would love to watch more videos from you playing tho. :)

The glowy thing on the ground at night is a moonstone and the Magic Man named Waldo will sell you cards for your decks and more importantly Talisman's (he really is the Krobus of the game) and rescue's you if you fall unconscious on an island. You need to let one of your monsters go because you need to catch a lvl 5 one to then go and see Zed at the Science center to get the Spirit Barn - I would suggest Dusty - he is awesome but he is also not rare and you will be able to easily catch another one.

The game looks cute, but I've never really vibed with turn based combat systems like this, so I won't be getting it. Would happily watch you play more however.

I introduced my 8 year old granddaughter to Stardew Valley. She loves it; but it's too hard for her. Moonstone looks almost identical, but easier. Perhaps she'll like this game better?🥑
Moonstone is very fun! But quite a bit different. If she likes Pokemon she might enjoy it!
