Rly? I liked animenz arrg more. This one's a very close second though (it's incredibly similar to animenz and most spots are the same just played with more flair, but since this piece was likely inspired by animenz himself, I gotta go with the original arrg)

In my opinion, this is actually played better than in the original video. The slightly slower tempo with stronger accents makes the piece "come alive more" in a sense. This is coming from a piano plyer of 13 years and you can tell how much this guy practiced over and over, each measure is pure perfection

I think you can feel that with this much pedal, if anyone doesn’t play with your level of clarity, the piece will be ruined. I personally, am very conservative on my pedaling. Maybe I should start experimenting more in this area.

What makes this such a masterpiece of a cover is that the song is played at the tempo of the original song. Most covers tend to be played a bit slower, and it kind of ruins the song to me. However this rendition sounds exactly like the original, and you made it your own. The only thing I wish this song had was a key change at the end, but I'm a sucker for key changes 😂
I started this one a while ago. I would say the beginning is the hardest part. Once you get past that the rest should be okay. This is one of my favorite Animenz arrangements so I’m excited.
