- On his quest to de-throne reigning champion Hafthor Bjornsson, Mateusz Kieliszkowski bests the Mountain in the opening Trial By Stone event, lifting four stones of increasing weight (275LB, 300LB, 365LB, 400LB), and carrying the legendary Husafell Stone (409 LBS) across the finish line in just over 50 seconds. A major statement from the dangerous Polish competitor.
Rogue’s complete coverage of the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic will be live from March 6-7. 10 strongmen will compete in 6 events over 2 days for the title of Arnold Strongman Classic Champion. Badluck Mateusz first the camera guy in his way, then the so-close sandbag which would have gotten him third place and THEN his strap breaks on the deadlift!!

Wymaga to czasu, żeby poprawić martwy ciąg. Wiadome jest to, że odrazu nie dołoży do sztangi extra 100 kg. Niestety ale ten bój dla Mateusza to pięta Achillesa. Ogólnie jest Moc

I love the way this guy will usually completely smash one event...the dumbbell a few years ago, the stone to shoulder, and then what we just saw, it's always great to see him n the line-up.
He even smashed the wheel of pain with a bigger margin. Today's events suit Thor better than Matteusz but if he can get good numbers on the deadlift I believe he might get second as he's good with the frame carry as well. I love watching this man compete.

I hope he manages to win somehow! The deadlift will be a big setback.
I think we'll all be shocked at how much it's improved. He really needs to activate his glutes more......but I think he knows that now.
I think the only issue is that he has some kind of a lat injury.

That first stone didn’t look locked out at all
Locking is not obligated
Doesnt have to be locked to be counted
Those stones don't work like barbells. You don't have to lock out your arms, just lift the stone overhead.
@@LuisGarcia-vi5rj well, it was more than that, but less than "locked out". The rules meeting had to have been strange. Basically it probably was, "controlled over-the-head press". The event needs to go away as a slip could potentially end a career and/or a life. I view it as akin to doing a max leg press on a rounded surface. It's just asking for someone to be maimed. They don't need a more dangerous event, just a better event. This makes log lifting look accident free in comparison.
