21-1-2024 - Carlingford Revisited ............... Revisited
It has been a few years since the Carlingford line was closed.
Earlier our channel, and blogsite, have covered the line when open, and soon after closure.
On January 21st we decided to return a few months out from the new light rail opening. All looks nearly ready to go, and it is believed trams have already started testing. Sadly we didn't see any on our visit.
Our video shows each of the light rail stops from Carlingford to Camellia, along with a brief visit to the former fuel sidings at Sandown.
Carlingford - Telopea - Dundas - Rydalmere - Camellia
Even a few buses thrown in for good measure.
The day out was a Semi-Retired Foamer organised group event.
