I know it’s early but this is the best win they’ve had since they beat Notre Dame in 2017. I don’t think A&M is going to be some incredible team this year but I think they’ll probably be 8-4 or something. This was a massive step forward for this program either way. A&M is a very talented team, to come out and be able to recover from the kind of mistakes that were made in this game to still win by 2 scores shows this team has a lot more grit than previously. Much more disciplined and focused.

A few things:
1. The response by The Canes after a terrible start - blocked punt, personal foul penalty and muffed punt. Essentially spotted A&M 2 TDS
2. The red zone play-calling was absolutely stellar!
3. Jacolby George responding after muffing a punt and dropping an easy TD.
4. TVD was on fire. O-line gave him plenty of time. Matt Lee is a beast!
5. The Jaden Davis tackle on the 3rd and 1 at the end of the 3rd w/ Kam recovering the fumble was my favorite play of the game! Just loved watching this team step up! Congrats!
THE TDV HATE HAS TO STOP!! Definitely still a Heisman caliber QB.
This Canes team is one of the most underrated in the country. Dont be surprised if they finish the year top 20.

You didn’t see that last week at all, so what’s the difference this week? They just played a better football team yesterday. A&M is a good football team, which is going to win a lot of games this season. Miami was just flat out better in all three phases.
@@joeren8948 You are right... I didn't watch them last week. But I know that tackling some one from New Mexico is different than tacking someone from Miami. Totally different athletes. You cant just run up and try to bump people expecting them to fall. You have to gather them and drive them to the ground. You should do this with EVERYONE that has the ball no matter who they are. Yes, Miami was better but aTm would have made it a much better game just by tackling properly. BTW, I'm no aTm fan... I hate them as I am a Razorback myself. lol Just saying, they have a tackling problem. simple as that.
It was a very obvious problem in this game… if a majority of the highlights captured it, then it was even worse for the entirety of the game.

The 'Canes were rushing with their corners, the Ags didn't chip to slow them down to give Conner a shot down field. Miami was blitzing every down. And Jimbo's offense rushed right towards their d-line. Horrible.
1. There is no chipping to slow down a corner blitz. The blitzes were very well timed and disguise. It's impossible to chip a corner blitz because they are rare and unexpected blitzes from the fastest players on the field. That's why they work so well.
Miami was NOT blitzing every down. Miami was SHOWING blitz and dropping out of it, twist and loop stunts with the DL to give the ILLUSION of pressure.
It's not Jimbos offense. Jimbo has a traditional prostyle offense with a lot more under center and 3 to 7 step drop plays.
That offense was All Bobby Petrino.
A&M got flat out beat and outclassed.

It’s shocking how little anyone actually cares about Miami. The stadium having so many seats empty for this game is still surprising. I’ve seen horrible Miami crowds for 15 years but it still surprises me how little people care about this school compared to how many prop them up.
My canes looked good and my Irish my 2 favorite teams since a youngster but canes qb has great touch on the deep ball and the Irish qb has great touch that's crazy I only got 2 see them games and I'm like dam it's early in the season but both teams seam to have good qb play and there defense was showing up both teams would to me have one or the other but to see them both have it least for now on both ends should be good for all and I'm from MD and somebody please pray for my terps I think it will never happen but optimistic have a blessed night who ever reads
