He's my main DPS since I didn't go for Seele's banner. He's very damn strong. I literally use him in all my setups. At lvl 60, I get him to crit for over 15k with his ult with the right setup.
I love Dan Heng - didn't go for Seele because - probably a very unpopular opinion - I don't like her design/color scheme and her personality that much. 🙈Until today I used a 3-star weapon on him and I intended to buy the 5-star weapon from Herta's shop tomorrow buuut the game gave me Sleep Like the Dead today as my first 5-star from the standard banner. 😅

Currently…Dan Heng is the only Wind character and the only Hunt character I have on my account. I don’t have any other Wind or Hunt characters. So this will be helpful because while I don’t mind his playstyle, I am basically forced to use him aha so this is a very helpful video

Aww, that's how I felt when I started Genshin back then. HSR is pretty similar, so now I'm feeling like a pro with all my Genshin experience. 😂You'll get there, too. At the beginning it really helps to read the tutorials/tips the game gives you while playing and the skill descriptions etc. and of course watching videos like this. I hope you'll have a lot of fun with the game.

Personally, with Dan Heng's talent, the best buffers to go with him are charcaters who can buff party members directly like: Asta (speed and dmg buffs), Yukong (soon party wide atk and cdmg buffs), Tingyun (atk and ult buffs). Characters like Silver Wolf and Pela affect enemies so he just has more synergy with Harmony and Abundance units for sure

i keep finding that a lot of content im currently doing doesnt suit a wind or a hunt character, yet you bet im still bringing dan heng along with me bc i love him so much lol
Make sure to slow your target and use his Talent when using his Ult because it increases your talent by a ton. It will increase your ult damage by 53%-81% against wind weak enemies, and by 59%-94% against wind neutral enemies. This is why he may seem weak at first if you don't play him right, but is actually quite strong. Assumptions for calculations: lower bound is ult and talent level 1 while upper bound is ult and talent level 12 which I think is the max achievable in game. I'm also assuming you have no external forms of wind res reduction or motion value increase, since to my knowledge there are no other forms of wind res reduction and the only form of motion value increase if the one lightning hit you get from Tingyun's skill. I could be wrong on this though.

Is it okay if you made a guide about Asta and Herta? Because those two clutched half of the bosses that I've fought in the challenges separately so please make for us a video about Herta for a recommendation, just because I still don't know about how to make her overpowered for the Simulated Universe since that she's the only free character who makes a follow-up attack for smaller enemies.
so far I haven't seen anyone playing sampo, you might wanna consider playing him + welt. I'm at tl 33 and have been destroying abyss 3 stars at floor 10 with only lvl 30 light cone 🤣 enemies can't even take a turn 💯💯
Regarding the light cones, I find using 'subscribe for more I' more effective than 'cruising on stellar sea III'. At the same levels. While stellar sea gives a little more stats, the damage of skills and basic attack is still lower than with subscribe. Not only that, I often find it's not worth the opportunity cost to try to snipe an add in a boss fight to set up the attack buff as opposed to only attacking the boss. I am currently testing with lvl 50 Dan Heng and lvl50 cones. Edit: I don't have 'swordplay' or 'sleep like the dead' at the moment but in my opinion: Sleep > swordplay > subscribe > stellar sea
People are sleeping on welt, hr is not just slow guys, one talent of his make: when he ults, all the enemies take 20% more damage from all fonts for one turn...

Same, but the Hunt one is imo one of, if not THE best, standard cones (no cope). Yes, Stellar Sea is really competitive, but all this means is that you can get Stellar Sea AND Sleep like the Dead; build Seele/Yanqing/Sushang with the other, have 2 insane dps units for both sides of the abyss, EZ Clap. The passive is whatever, 30% cdmg + high base atk makes it a good stat stick at any rate.
@@DerBlupp I get your point but my account is really unlucky I got E1 Clara so I have to use her and got bronya so I basically have no dps + I got that hunt 5* while I’m using non of the hunt characters…it’s awkward…I’ll have to upgrade someone I guess…I also stopped pulling for seele and waiting for the electro guy coming up next.
Yeah, thats fair, I can see how a Clara cone would have been nicer for you. I'm sure you'll make good use of it eventually. Hopefully when I lose the 50/50 I get a Clara, she (or svarog rather) seems really cool
- IMO , Crit Armor early / Effect hit rate Armor Late game for more flexibility and to apply slow consistently which gives dmg boosts unless you paired him with welt/future char with slow. - Also theres 6 equip slots , theres a lot of sources for crit subs which makes effect hit rate armor main stat worth it late game especially higher mobs have debuff resists %. - Ult regen for Rope since spamming is better than slightly more dmg since its only atk% So yeah with these , Dan Hang Late game stats should make him feel more as fast as Seele in taking turns. Slowing the enemy while spam buffing his spd and ult spamming which makes him a high dps dealer. I guess its kinda hard to min max stat hence why everyone uses Hook since she is easier to build despite being weaker in peak dmg to Dan Heng.
I saw some cn channel that make the math for every dps with every artefact with every option, and in the most majority cases its cri rate for armor and atk boots better than speed since is better kill the enemy then having and extra turn
Dan is a hunt character tho, so it's better to leave worries like debuffs and dmg boosts to your supports. It's also not recommended to focus too much on the number of turns he has since you not only end up mismanaging your skill points but also end up having him take up too much of your limited turns. Rather than spamming his turns and ult, it's better to make each of his turns actually count.
however , u need two teams tho where dan heng would be very useful . I personally have seele and her lightcone , i have welt too and himeko . I could use dan heng in second team as dps . I dont have any other hunt character for second team . I think dan heng is the second best hunt character

If you plan on building him then the 5* lightcone would be better, but if you still want to use Danheng then see if you don’t mind raising another or switching around, there’s a free one you can get from forgotten hall if you need another hunt lightcone

Is only silence remains a good light cone for him? I have it max super imposed and it increases crit rate by 24% when 2 or less enemies are on the field. And I figured since he’s mainly for bosses this would be good or better than cruising on the stellar sea

if you dont have enough crit rate, go for SU light cone, and E1 deal 12 % crit on above 50% enemy, SU S5 deal 16% on below 50% enemy unless u have 90+ crit rate, i highly recommend running dan heng with SU light cone as in SU light cone if u have E1, you only need to push 88% crit rate for full crit, and if you have enough crit rate, push for crit damage body
pretty sure it's best in slot for every hunt character, as hunt characters tend to have high speed baseline and you often want to invest speed into them because the more turns they get the faster they kill your enemies.
Yes, it’s quite a straight forward weapon that gives lots of crit rate. Any Hunt character should be able to use it. Also, the base stats are good. But I wouldn’t pull for that weapon if you’re not going for Seele, because Cruising is ‘free’ and really good too.
15 tickets is the maximum you can have rn I believe (thats what I have anyways); if you don't have that many, you must be missing them somewhere, difficulty, maybe weekly SU rewards?

I have the same dilemma but after testing it does seem that Sushang deals more damage due to her speed and her ult pushes her forward again, and there seem to be more enemies weak to physical.
Early game he is still really good because he can do a lot of damage to Bosses. But he has fallen off by a bit with the release of Blade but still a really solid pick since he only really requires Welt to do big damage.
Hit 40 and was checking who to lvl up to 60, and comparing Seele with Dan I kinda notice they are kinda similar, he is actually really good. Seele still better cause her resets and damage buff in her passive tho.

He works well with Welt if you can get him, cos he does more damage to enemies that are slowed and welt slows everyone with his attacks.

calculations said, that the Attack% set, if you get the 120 speed buff, is for the most DDs the BiS. Jing yuan is exception.

About the Swordplay light cone, do multi hits on attacks build individual stacks? Or is it 1 attack(no matter if it is multihit) 1 stack?
Yes, it does build multiple stacks. I have it and after 1 Dan Heng skill, he gets 4 stacks... which is crazy in my opinion.

Dan heng is amazing, was using him with my Welt but pulled Seele so I switched him out for her.

pretty sure it's best in slot for every hunt character, as hunt characters tend to have high speed baseline and you often want to invest speed into them because the more turns they get the faster they kill your enemies.
Yes, it’s quite a straight forward weapon that gives lots of crit rate. Any Hunt character should be able to use it. Also, the base stats are good. But I wouldn’t pull for that weapon if you’re not going for Seele, because Cruising is ‘free’ and really good too.
Seele's light cone is top tier for every hunt character.

Depends he does less damage but Sushang needs alot of skill points sushang is alot better as a main dps but dan heng is more versatile
I have the same dilemma but after testing it does seem that Sushang deals more damage due to her speed and her ult pushes her forward again, and there seem to be more enemies weak to physical.

I'm killing bosses using Herta, her stats are Level 60 with atk 1.9k. Combo her with Asta for aoe spamming

Early game he is still really good because he can do a lot of damage to Bosses. But he has fallen off by a bit with the release of Blade but still a really solid pick since he only really requires Welt to do big damage.

Hit 40 and was checking who to lvl up to 60, and comparing Seele with Dan I kinda notice they are kinda similar, he is actually really good. Seele still better cause her resets and damage buff in her passive tho.
E4 Dan Heng is the same maybe
