@carrot1977 - LOL You beat me to this answer!! I was about to explain what that tall skinny cabinet is for when I saw your comment!! In addition to cookie sheets and pans, its also a place to store big cutting boards... :D
Not sure where you live in California, but it has to cost less than NYC. In my case, I live in Northern Nevada and housing here is a real bargain compared to NYC.
$3450 is actually cheap for a 2 bedroom with amenities. BUT at that price i think is use it as a 1 bedroom with no roommate. That "kitchen on a wall" doesn't impress me & actually doesnt give much room for a table & chairs, a couch, entertainment center & tv, especially with limited wall area. The room with a balcony would be better used as a living room. I think the wall sconces & flooring choices would not work for everyone's design choices. The gym is just ok & i know Sinash would say those weights are a joke but on a rainy day.... it's interesting that they've included an in-house dog walker. Don't think we've seen that b4. Not sure what this design style would be called. Modern industrial bcuz of the exposed pipes? Just looks like an easy way of getting around leaks & not having to replace celings & sheetrock.
I suppose $3,450 (plus heat and hot water) for a new two bedroom isn't exorbitant by NYC standards, but this isn't Manhattan. Getting there by train is problematic, but for another $350/month garage rent you can drive. ;-) The neighborhood does not look like one I would walk through at midnight.
@@TrainsFerriesFeet Many Manhattan buildings have heat and hot water piped in from a central heating plant, so it's included in the rent. In other parts of Manhattan and all the other boroughs the apartments generally have to have their own heating and hot water systems, and usually the tenants pay for it.
Hi Cash and to your friend very beautiful NYC apartment with a great neighborhood and great eateries and groceries. I like Zoltar. Stay cool and safe 👍😀
For NYC price wise I think that this is a pretty good deal! Nice building and rooms are a decent size. One person could perhaps live there as it's cheaper than some one bed apartments. Thanks.
Parking in Manhattan can cost $2000 mo if you have an suv or expensive car and if you want to go in and out of your spot. Yep that’s another $500 month to drive your car out of the garage.
Please tell me that “Dog Park” isn’t on the ROOF... My Rhodesian Ridgeback can jump a 6’ fence easily especially when playing fetch! There’s also a bench right by the edge of the roof, not too smart! *1:47 That’s place is called “The Ten Bells” a wonderful pub with fantastic Pub Grub! With items like Oysters on the Half Shell, Cheese Plates and Charcuterie Boards rated a 4.6 stars outta 5! Moderately prices with a lovely Wine selection and tasty Cocktails. Only $3,450? I’m shocked because it’s extremely reasonable for Brooklyn.
Answer: Because price is per person! $1750 per person in a $3450/month apartment. The broker says it is 600 square feet, so the monthly rent is $5.75 per square foot. Not a super bargain, seems like it is actually priced for super luxury in Bushwick.
Very nice unit but I HATE that living area layout. No windows and super awkward for furniture. Bad design. That kitchen faucet is terrible too. Looks nice but doesn't function well
Anyone guess what her sentence will be? She deserves nothing less than life in prison without parole. As henious as this might seem It would be a relief if she pulled a Michael Marin, he's the arson millionaire who took his own life during his sentencing hearing.
A bit on the small side to suit me, if I were looking for a roommate situation. But if you are in your 30s and don’t have a lot of stuff, I suppose you could do worse.
Like this apartment; IMHO: why is it that landlords don't place water heaters in a separate mechanical/machines area (i.e., in a room in the basement or first floor) on the premises? 🤔
The size is ok for the price but I would use it as a one bedroom personally. I don’t love the hot water tank being in a bedroom closet. I would rather have lost the tiny “coat closet” in the common area and shove one in there. Also, is that a typical price for parking in New York? $350 a month seems kinda steep for a parking space BUT I don’t live in the city so I’m probably wrong haha
Hahaha, I swear Cash be out on these tours at 6am, and that's why there's nothing open, but if it's already 11, this neighborhood must still be on island time, and not New York. It sucks that the smaller grocery stores have to charge more, too. That peach....orange, whatever, is almost as much as an avocado at Whole Foods. None of those laundry machines are in use, cuz he filmed this through office hours. I put bags, and a foldable stool so you can reach the cab-i-nets, in those narrow kitchen cabinets.
Not terrible for the apt itself but the neighborhood can be a problem. The city pays rookie cops about $42,000 so you can’t afford to rent this apartment in the neighborhood you are policing. Thus, the city is having a tough time attracting new officers at a time when lots of officers are leaving the NYPD.
NYC is not a place for introverts. I have to be around people to do anything; laundry, traveling around the city, outdoor space 😬 I like having my own space.
That apartment is nice but its too small in my opinion. You gotta show people what flatlands BK has to often especially for the people that are trying to move here. I know its all about location but space is way more important in my book. lol. great video.
A luxury palace for only $1,750? But there is a caveat, it's Per Person! I wonder how many people it will take to satisfy the rent? Guess I'll have to watch to find out. lol 🧚♀
This is actually okay for a roommate situ. No... I'm not overly fond of the snack bar area BUT in this particular case (maybe because it's bigger?) I could work with it. I don't like having the bedrooms adjacent either but... And surprisingly, I'm even okay with this particular tile flooring. The price is really good for all that you are getting, and one could still have the ability to save some money for the next move. Overall... not bad. Not bad at all.
@@MamaCarola1 "Where do you entertain"? Why darling, in the bedroom of course. If it is affordable then taking it as a one bedroom and using the other room for some other use would be optimal. But this is Bushwick (of which I know very little about) and I don't know how I would feel paying that type of money for its location. However (and IMHO) this is a very nice unit for people to share who are in their late 20's-mid 30's. The pull here is having something nice but affordable in order to build up bank to make the next move. Yes, my lovely house in an expensive part of Vermont is a real pleasure and the mortgage is much less than this rent

Great neighborhood tour!!! My favorite part!!
Awesome job cash see you tomorrow
New York has to be the ONLY place in the world that lists rent as 'per person' as if we're renting dorms or hostels.
I think it's more of a Cash thing. I haven't seen other channels list it as per person.
The narrow cabinet at 7:45 is very useful for cookie sheets and stuff like that.
And also baking trays
And cooling racks.
Cutting boards too
