I recently bought this product and paid $319 USD and I thought that was outrageous however yes, I wanted my whole rig to match and be on the same ecosystem. It also has quite good radiator fins as far as the surface area of the fins. Thanks for the video.
First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your beautiful art, but I have a question, I am very curious about the sound coming from the pump.
I bought the NZXT Kraken Elite 360 rgb and it rocks. I can run RUclips videos, Gifs, different temp readings and even make my own custom screen layouts. They give a really easy way to make it how I want. It keeps my Ryzen 7 5800x around 50°c when gaming, at around 35°c in idle.

@@julianrodriguez1305 It's the vrm fan below the screen. limit it's speed in armoury crate. Or it could be the pump's sound as buzzing is usually a high speed pump. You could replace the proprietary fans with any brand fan you like, you would just loose the single magnetic wire harness. Nothing would stop you from mounting different cooling fans and running the wires.

I like a good blueberry muffin. That price though. I didn't know AIOs got that high in price. I haven't looked in a very long time since I got my Noctua NH-D15.
Ive had mine for a year now. I had a lot of trouble with usb/lcd screen in armoury crate. Got that worked out after many updates. The rgb on the fans stay red blue and green. I filed a ticket with asus. They ran me through the steps i already did. Asus escalated,i got an email telling me to do the same steps again and if it didn’t work to contact my mobo manufacturer. Well guess what my mobo is an asus b605e -f. So the buck stops here! Waiting on a response from asus. Check and mate asus!
Nom nom on that blueberry muffin, That price tho...... and given asus's current issues elsewhere (GN)this will go down like a lead balloon. Good review as always just the product sucks for the price.
I had mine for three months now and the cpu fan sounds like an airplane. It so loud and I can't adjust the fan speed through its software. So far, it's been a piece of crap!!!
While I certainly really like the quality of Asus hardware (atleast for the most part), their pricing has become ridiculous over the years, especially on the ROG branding. The biggest issue I have with Asus however is their god awfull software. AI Suite is pretty much malware that can brick your system, cause instability and is pretty much impossible to get off your system cleanly without the cleaner they have hidden somewhere in thef orums and armory crate has pushed my system into recovery mode more than once when it tried to update drivers/bios aside from both programs being absolute resource hogs with like 20 background processes just because you want to change your fan speeds.
i remember i went into the 'dashboard' section of ArmoryCrate and it bluscreend my computer LMAO didn't happen again, but you bet I don't use AC anymore
So earlier I went online and saw this AIO from ASUS ROG but I had a laugh when I saw the price. It's got a screen on it, everyone is doing it nowadays and for me that's nothing special to add that much of a price tag. I will give them credit for the fans as it keeps it almost with no cables but..still, I saw this selling for almost 450 quid on our favorite UK online retailer (you know where) and it's insane. Even the other, most expensive AIOs are nowhere near this price trag. Now let's not forget the rest of ROG products are being released with about a 50 quid increase in price and they slam a screen onto it. I just think ASUS Rog are starting to get more eager to place a line between their products and everyone else's which is fair, but pricing is getting blurry for me and that's a hard sale.
Im staying on the fence because its not all as one sided as its been made out. Its also not the first time voltages have been a problem, another brand is far worse.
Im sure the pc industry are all hell bent on self destruction! Disgusting prices on most components and now one of my Favourite brands behaving like a spoilt brat, then game developers doing dreadful ports the list goes on..... Sad sad times for PC gamers 😢😢😢 Cheers
This AIO system has a very, very bad screen. When you turn it 90 degrees you can't see anything. It inverts colors like the very first old smartphones. and it's very sad. Disgusting screen on a premium product of a premium brand. I warned you before buying
I'm selling my brand new uninstalled Corsair h150 with LCD Elite upgrade kit that I got from Corsair due to RMA of 'Red Triangle of Death' for the Ryujin 3 in White which per ASUS comes out in about 3 weeks. Also, don't have to deal with the overrated and hogish ICUE software crap anymore. Doesn't play nice with Armory Crate and honestly, the ASUS software is better. I think the Ryujin 3 is selling for $360-$370 in the USA. Not $400.
The best bit? Blueberry muffins. I won't have Asetek in my rig if I can help it, whoevers logo is on it and however it is tarted up. To me this was noticeabley noiser even just sat there doing not a lot. I know the side panel is off for the camera; but I can't say I've heard anything as annoying before. TBH, this is the first one I can think of that has elbowed its' way in like this. Maybe its the note and frequency; but it really grates where others haven't.
The problem is armory crate. Total garbage software that randomly breaks and either turns off all your fans and let's your CPU cook without any warning, or the fans will randomly get stuck at max speed. RGB breaks all the time, losing control so you get stuck on rainbow puke or no lights at all. I can't count the amount of times I've had to reinstall armoury crate.

They did not show the EK Nucleus 360 at 1000 RPM; my test shows it's better than the ROG; it's also a lot quieter, and these 8th Gen pumps are louder than previous versions.
I think Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II 420 is better and cheaper.
Do you think this outperforms 420mm AIOs that are available like the Corsair h170i and Thermaltake Toughliquid ultra?
People who tested this said so.
I like a good blueberry muffin. That price though. I didn't know AIOs got that high in price. I haven't looked in a very long time since I got my Noctua NH-D15.
Even more insane is that I am going to buy this AIO and replace the fans with UNI INF fans. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!
Well done for being impartial Tom! Although Asus won't be getting my hard earned
Why did you have a thing about the little fan you bully.
Well Asetek makes all the parts that do the work on that AIO so Asus slapping their name on it doesn't diminish it, IMO.
pump noise isnt acceptible imho
Nom nom on that blueberry muffin, That price tho...... and given asus's current issues elsewhere (GN)this will go down like a lead balloon. Good review as always just the product sucks for the price.
We're having a blueberry muffin together today 🍥
I’m sorry I’m in camp 1 but I do love me a good blueberry muffin!
Blueberry muffin...yummy
I had mine for three months now and the cpu fan sounds like an airplane. It so loud and I can't adjust the fan speed through its software. So far, it's been a piece of crap!!!
While I certainly really like the quality of Asus hardware (atleast for the most part), their pricing has become ridiculous over the years, especially on the ROG branding. The biggest issue I have with Asus however is their god awfull software. AI Suite is pretty much malware that can brick your system, cause instability and is pretty much impossible to get off your system cleanly without the cleaner they have hidden somewhere in thef orums and armory crate has pushed my system into recovery mode more than once when it tried to update drivers/bios aside from both programs being absolute resource hogs with like 20 background processes just because you want to change your fan speeds.
i remember i went into the 'dashboard' section of ArmoryCrate and it bluscreend my computer LMAO
didn't happen again, but you bet I don't use AC anymore
mmm blueberry muffin
My brother died 7 weeks ago so hard I sold my setup but I'm going to build new pc
Im sorry for you loss dude x
The price is disgusting and it’s noisy but it is the best in class ….. I wish ROG would rethink their pricing and sell more units
I can't remember when i last saw an AIO design that was this ugly.
Love the taste of this yummy blueberry muffin
We all know your staying on the fence, because you don't wanna loose your sponsorship lol
Im staying on the fence because its not all as one sided as its been made out. Its also not the first time voltages have been a problem, another brand is far worse.
Asus's VRM temps are not better nor worse than the competition. But the Asus prime boards have insanely crappy VRM temps.
Don't think anyone will be buying ASUS products anytime soon the way they treat their customers.
You'd be surprised
The Ally will be a hit.
Just bought an apex. Can't await to push 8000mhz+ on my ram

Im sure the pc industry are all hell bent on self destruction! Disgusting prices on most components and now one of my Favourite brands behaving like a spoilt brat, then game developers doing dreadful ports the list goes on..... Sad sad times for PC gamers 😢😢😢 Cheers
Asus have withdrawn all warranty restrictions from their BIOSes.
That doesn't excuse their original attitude. If GN Steve wouldn't have burned them to the ground they'd have stuck to their original policy.
@@TheBlackIdentety You'd rather they kept the warranty restrictions?
@@Safetytrousers that's not what they said, is it?
@@arwlyx No, it's what I just said.
This AIO system has a very, very bad screen.
When you turn it 90 degrees you can't see anything.
It inverts colors like the very first old smartphones.
and it's very sad.
Disgusting screen on a premium product of a premium brand.
I warned you before buying
I have allways used ASUS mobos and aio never any problems for me ASUS rulezzz
I have an H170i and if I so desire I can buy an LCD upgrade kit for it. Asus can keep their junk.
Not $400.
Blueberry muffin...Mmmm
The best bit? Blueberry muffins. I won't have Asetek in my rig if I can help it, whoevers logo is on it and however it is tarted up. To me this was noticeabley noiser even just sat there doing not a lot. I know the side panel is off for the camera; but I can't say I've heard anything as annoying before. TBH, this is the first one I can think of that has elbowed its' way in like this. Maybe its the note and frequency; but it really grates where others haven't.
If it wasnt rog it wouldve been 300$ or even 250$.
£400!!! Not likely. Kudos for being impartial, but really? I have a donkey with a couple of dangling appendages. Asus can go suck on them!
you are only trash talking there is no graphic or detailed analyzes..
So true!
This case is not suitable for this cooling! Since the case already has a screen, it means to put it down! Then the cooling screen is useless!
