Be advised, the tilt axis does not balance with my flagship Samsung smart phone. The adjustment arm is too short. So even when pushed all the way forward, it still flop down. I have the included clamp and the one recommended in the video.
@@MikusAusters Note20U w/Lapgood phone clamp, as the included phone clamp was too small. But I'm not alone, another owner stated the exact same issue with his iPhone 13 w/cage. Some might say the M3 is overkill for a smartphone -- since it can handle large mirrorless cameras and their lenses -- but avoiding these types of frustrating limitations (I was upset the included clamp I paid extra to get, didn't fit) was exactly why I chose to go way beyond what I needed. The M3 should be able to fly 3 smartphones.
Hello Sir, may I ask if you suffer the issue with the gimbal getting into the sleep mode once you turn it on?? I just got mine yesterday and I literally suffering from this issue! I did the balance manually but the problem remains. Any ideas?
Hi! A couple of ideas, actually. 1) Are the axis locks unlocked when you power up the gimbal. Couse they all should be unlocked. If one are multiple are locked, then the gimbal might go into sleep mode. 2) What kind of camera setup are you using. If it is too heavy, the gimbal might go into sleep mzode. However, if it is too heavy, you might not be able to balance it in the first place. :)
@@MikusAusters Hi! Im using sony zve-10, and I just figured it out, as you said all the axix lock should be unlocked when it's power on! However, I've managed to locked all the axis and I guess that is why my gimbal keeping entering the sleep mode haha! I'm a newbie to this. Spent too much time in adjusting, im glad I know why now! Thank you!

Thank you for showing the cell phone and action camera parts! Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Except the tilt balance may not work with some flagship phone such as iPhone 13 and Samsung NOTE20U/SXX.

You're welcome! Cheers!

Sad to hear it didn't work for you and I can't figure out why it is so. What smartphone model is that?
