Wtf Bamber? This is Cadillac's best result so far and he threw it away by being so reckless. There is more than an hour left in the race. Why take such a risk?

  • @OpptimusPrime1

Completely Cadillac's fault. what kind of ambitious is this ? It should have stayed behind Porsche's back for drafting than try to overtake at the next corner.

One thing that I used to hate when I was a mechanic in ALMS & GrandAm was when a car in another class wrecked you. Especially when you were leading and they were low down in their class.

Bamber totally f*cked the BMW there. The BMW was maintaining his line and Bamber got too greedy to overtake. Asshat.

Weird how both Porsche and Cadillac have repeated the same curse from last year (but of course now different circumstances) and now BMW have join the frey
    my thoughts on the crash:
Im thinking the possibility of it a racing incident (given it is mentioned around in the comments it was) but I’m thinking judging the Onboard of the Cadillac It doesn’t look like it But outside it looks like it is though he blocks (which he can do) the charging Cadillac but afterwards comeback to his original line (not to mention during the crash he hit the back part of that 99 Porsche)
He would gone through if it was open before but I think the door was closing when he was near to him but sure he was still committed but i understand why he does it but i also understand why 99 block the Cadillac as well
Theory: but the case though possibly why he didn’t lift he focuses on the porsche ahead and doesn’t know the BMW
Since he knows the Aston Martin in front afterwards Porsche 99 but never realized there’s a BMW to the right (keep in mind which is ahead of the Aston Martin on the same side)
The BMW innocent party their wrong place at the wrong time and it is a racing incident

It appears that the front car was moving right as the rear car was trying to pass on the right which closed the gap much faster than the rear car was ready for and the BMW was as far right as he could be so he had nowhere to go to avoid it without running off the track. It is awesome that the drivers came out OK.
