TIGER CAVE TEMPLE, KRABI | 1260 Steps Straight Up!

The rock formations and Mountainous areas surrounding Krabi in the south of Thailand really do take your breath way, so we decided we wanted to get closer and make the climb to the top of the very well know, Tiger Cave Temple. We grabbed a motorbike for the day and made the drive from Ao Nang to the temple which is located just outside of Krabi town.
There's no point lying here, the climb to the top of this temple was a tough one, which consisted of climbing 1260 steps heading straight up into the sky! When you finally reach the top of the steps you are rewarded with amazing 360 views all across Krabi and a chance to stop, take a breath, relax and spend some time admiring the Buddha statues and other monuments at the top.
The actually Tiger Cave temple it's self is very easily accessible and located at the entrance to the Tiger Cave Temple area, but to be honest the highlight of this visit is definitely making the climb to the very top of the steps!

Hey, we're Eoin and Aisling, a couple from Ireland who have packed their bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to travel the world in search of new adventures!
We started our journey by spending 3 months walking from the top to the bottom of Croatia and exploring a few of the boarding countries. Then at the start of January 2022 we hopped on a flight to South East Asia!
We hope to be in this part of the world for the next year, but who knows what might happen along the way, our plans are forever changing!
We tend to plan each day as it comes and can't wait to see what the world has in store for us!

Bad back , bad hip 57 years old and my wife is nearly 61 , it was hard really hard but both of us pushed on to the top , we saw younger people than us giving up
