I wish I would have found you sooner. Only thing I was missing was that I was slapping on the strings near the pickups instead of on the fretboard. Was missing that you had to have the second finger already down on a pulloff as well. Thanks so much! Great use of my 12 minutes as a bass player. Subbed, and can't wait to dig into your other vids.
wow I think I will start practicing slap bass,I play in rock band with a pick but of course want to branch out into other styles,always getting told to play different styles now I will it is harder than it looks even for musicians you are great will keep watching!!!!!
Very nice video...a lot of questions answered. Also, you were the only one who mentioned about the distance of the strings. After i adjusted the distance of my strings to the fret, I got the slapping sound automatically. And that was before I saw your video.
