Fine words of wisdom for your girl and everyone. Never give up, focus on your goals.
Awesome! Thank you
I stumbled on your channel and absolutely love your attitude of working hard for yourself to do what you want and need. I love your down to earth way of doing things. Thanks for sharing all the cool things you do! Your life is very enriched and your daughter is lucky to have a dad like you.
I taught my kids the same lessons, I'm happy to see when they are passing it on to their kids as well. Failure only really happens when you quit without trying. I told my Mom I'd graduate college, it took me till I was 57, but I did it.
haha nice!
Very good story, very nice lesson, and super nice wood.
What an amazing story and a wonderful life lesson. Thanks for sharing.
Great story! I almost teared up when I saw you were telling it to your daughter
Thanks! I thought that would be a fun reveal
There is been multiple people like him in history. One form China and one from Mexico. It means that one mans strength and will matters.
Great story about perseverance. I hope Lucy was listening more than she seems. - Chris
Very moving, especially after watching the mirror video throwback today. You have indeed moved mountains and while she may not realize it, so has Lucy in here own small ways.
Wow! Incredible story! I love that you shared it with your daughter and us. You are such a great dad! Priceless story and time to remember. Beautiful wood too! ❤️
why was he cutting a tree down? i missed that part.
Amazing story I should tell my daughter that when she gets old enough and I’ve always said F.A.I.L “First Attempt In Learning” amazing video!
Thats a good one!
It’s your videos like this that keeps me excited to watch them all.
Thanks!
Did they at least name the road, and maybe the hospital, after the guy? I mean, he did a shit ton for his village. The least they could do is to honor him especially after they practically mocked him for what he was trying to accomplish
I totally forgot to mention that. Go to Google maps and look up Dashrath Manjhi Road
I put a link to it in the description
PERSEVERE. Kids need to understand this basic thing; try, try again. Keep at it, you'll unlock a solution. I actually think "fail" is a useless word, because with persistence, the ultimate story is success. And kids are in the perfect position to keep at it, because they don't have a lot of ideas about what a successful outcome is, they have fantastic, un-filtered ideas, receptive, curious minds, and boundless energy. They are already in the mode of "let's try this", all the time, until something new happens. "failed" attempts are good attempts, good efforts, valuable, information-gathering pushes toward an eventual success. The only thing you could really call "failure" is giving up. Kudos on your admirable work, with everything. Inspirational!
