The two anchors were not even interested in the match as they keep on talking ‘bout the Men’s Singles match. They just focus on the Ladies’ match when they realize that the rally hasn’t ended yet.
It's hard to commentate those kind of matches with defensives playstyles on both sides, it's almost exclusively basic shots trying to tire out the opponent
It's because they were commentators for TV court (aka court 1) and this rally was in court 2. I'm surprised bwf could get this footage.

did those two commentators accidentally leave their mics on when they went outside to eat their lunch? is that the talking we could hear in the background?
the commentator were disrespecting the players in the court, disrespecting the match and the game. they were prefer talked about MS rather than WD played in the court, that sexist. next time if you want to re-upload this video, i think you should re-dub their voices.

Fukuman/Yonao are the rally-type pairs, similar to Maeda/Suetsuna, typical style play of older Japanese generation which is very traditional. Now we can see Matsutomo/Takahashi, Fukushima/Hirota or Matsumoto/Nagahara who utilizing the attacking play style.

Those two comedians commentators have no idea what is going on! They kept talking but not commentating.

bruh these commentators are just not it. They were talking for like 2:30 minutes about other players and didn't even realise that this was all one match.
Commentators went on and on and on..., they even talked about who's the best between them... they were not interested in the slightest on the match. It took them 2minutes and a half to realize and even then, they probably got notified by someone else that they were doing a poor job.

Kinda late but I counted about 256 shots. Includes the serve and minus the shot that the Hong Kong team missed.
To the two commentators: if only you had stopped talking so much and had actually watched the game, you would have known how long it had been taking place. As commentators, have your eyes on the screen next time rather than commenting on statistics.

This shot isn’t the longest rallies. Women’s doubles semifinal between polii, maheswari and fukuman,yonao in Asia championships 2016 is the longest rallies ever.
