- David and I were just out riding around Friday afternoon and randomly decided we were ready for some single track. 😆
This is about an hour long ride condensed down into 11 minutes.
We didn't quite finish the trail but we made it pretty dang far for being on stock tires!

That 390 Adventure is more than capable enough for that technical single track. Well done, great ride!!
Dude, absolutely love your channel seeing the two 390s tackle all these trails. I’m a new rider and went with the 390 as it ticked all the boxes except I had concerns on its capabilities off road but clearly it’ll get you nearly anywhere!
And we're still on stock tires!

I picked up my new UK 390 adventure today with 5 miles on clock, even running it in at under 6300rpm you can feel the bike wants to show you its power...at 56yrs old (had 1000cc+ sport/adventure bikes since i was 21 years old) mine will probably only see gentle off roading, but jesus these 390's are so brill you can throw them into a bend like a sports bike due to low weight..looking forward to embarrassing some big cc sport bikes on the twisties when it is run in 🤣

Btw you have the stock crash bars, right? I have them as well and Ive laid the bike down on both sides (for testing) and the levers (ie rear break and the shifter) hit the ground before the bars. So its very likely that Ill break the levers easily when crashing. Whats your experience here?
Yep stock crash bars but no issues there. My buddy in this video has had a couple of a hard crashes in dirt and hasn't had issues either even though he broke both mirrors last time.

Any stalling issues? If yes how you fixed it?
Does your traction control turn back on after you stall the bike and have to restart?

nope cause we have "offroad" mode. So we leave MTC on and set it to offroad mode which disables the MTC. offroad mode never resets.
@@furadride852 Because you have 2022 or 2023 model? My 2020 doesn't have that mode even after getting the latest firmware.
Cool video :) can you share the bags on the bike? does the tank bag can fit a dslr camera with lens?
hey hey the tank bag and saddle bags are nelson riggs. Yep definitely room for a DSLR. I can stuff my mirrorless cam and gopro in there.

Have you found a way to keep the traction control off even when you stall the bike? its so annoying offroad when it switches back on again.
Hey hey. so the 2022's have offroad mode. If you have offroad mode you actually just leave MTC on because offroad mode disables it and offroad mode doesn't reset if you stall. If you have one of the older models you may be able to get a software update to add offroad mode.

It looks like you can get the 390 to do single track....but it doesn't look like its fun doing it.....
Well he seems to be having a blast, probably with decent tires it is much more fun
