All things Halston is synonymous with but he was also known for so much more. This is a man largely ignored by the fashion world. A man forgotten and why, you might be wondering.... Well, that’s exactly what we will be talking about in today’s video.
Maybe you've seen the TV show? or maybe you haven't! (Honestly, in my opinion, it didn't do justice to who Halston was so I wouldn't recommend it) But either way, Halston is more than just a figure head. He was a person. He was a brother. A friend. And that's what we will be talking about today - Everything Halston was and is. The talent that he was. The friend that he was. And the Ultra-mega-American fashion designer superstar who paved the way for designer personalities - like Gianni Versace, Marc Jacobs, and Tom Ford - to exist.
He changed fashion. He changed American fashion. He brought America to the world stage. And he is so much more than Ultrasuede, disco, sex, and drugs. And I can't wait for you to meet him :)
Also, on another note, I am so beyond sorry for being inactive. My life has been chaos lately with work, family, friends, and life, in general. And as much as I tried, to get this video out, it didn't happen. This video almost broke me... I recorded it, 3 times, and edited fully twice and it just kept going wrong. It started to feel very personal but I swear I'm trying my absolute best. Hopefully, no more problems arise as I do plan to start posting regularly again. I will also do better about responding to comments, I know I'm always saying talk to me in the comments and y'all did, I just never got around to them and that's my fault... but I'm back baby! :)
