When I ran my MD8K at .7 I rose to 1.4 on a burp. Clamped 8500 watts In the high 15 volt range.
Thats some power im not forsure what its clamping but its more then 1700-2500 like it was before lol
Impala is getting down the Bass 8k is really moving the subs even at low volume. Once u get the reserve up no telling what it may do

What model xs battery is that? I assume it’s the d3100. Only one battery as well?

Why did you run it with trunk open?
I thought it was a 4th order till you went to trunk and saw subs firing up and out the car.
Is it louder with trunk open? I have had trunk builds that sounded better with it open from cancellation.
Ya i built it for low end so had to go big for the ports its the only way they would fit....so when i open the trunk it gains because they can breathe an play better.... it plays lows way better opened up is the main reason i do it

how are you getting 15 plus volts did you take the voltage regulator off the alternator

Also I saw you said something about something that bypasses the voltage regulator so you can run higher voltage to your amps? What is that how's it done? and where can I get one?
Hello, what's the question, where is the 8k taramps, do you have it screwed into the seat? or is there a base under that? Yesterday I bought one, I screwed it directly to the seat and it burned. something that doesn't happen with other amps, that's my doubt as to whether it grounded when putting it behind the seat.
Theres a 3/4 wood base its mounted that mounts to the seat
So do you always have to put a layer of wood before assembling it? Since this is the first time this has happened to me, I think it exploded after attaching it to the seat. Greetings from Chile@@BradBecraft
