Wow. Almost the entire Rose chapter is set in the Beneviento house.. I wished for that, but I never in a million years thought they'd actually do that.. It even has touching moments as well.. The Silent Hill remake really has to step up it's game if it wants to start competing with RE again.
Yeah and the demitress Castle Part was way more Entertainment and so different from the 2 hours Long Part in the Main Game. Best Part was when the 3 fly Sisters and the demitress got finally defeated,hated that Part in the Main Game so much,was more annoyed than thrilled after Entering that Part and the Castle. The Doll maker House Part should have been flashed Out and extended in the Main Game& the Castle Part Cut down much more. 😉

I kind of don't understand though: does anyone know why Rose is so powerful? The only reason rose has powers is because she's part mold from Ethan who was infected by it in RE7. But it wasn't special mold was it? Perhaps it's Eveline's mold that makes her so powerful? IDK, does my brain in.
Remember in the village near the end when Miranda tried to resurrect her Eva through Rose's body & it failed? Not only did it fail, but Rose took some of Miranda's power in the process. Which weakened Miranda. Probably due to Rose being perfectly bond of human and mold. Unlike the failed Evaline & the 4 lords.
But when exactly Ethan got infected ? When Jack hit him, he is already dead. Then after it they said Ethan was infected. That's explain Ethan can regeneration his body. I dont have idea when exactly Ethan got infected.
The part of this DLC at 1:53:00 is sooo great and suspensefull. This DLC is already 💯 times better than Village. Great tension buildup no annoying enemys like in Village. The Doll maker House is already the best Part so far. And its not Ego Shooter Perspektive. And Rose is already 10 times more of a Charakter than ethan ever was in Resident Evil Village. She has personality and is sooo likable. Ethan was Just a walking talking corpse almost all the time in Resident Evil 7 and Village.😜😁
Yes!! Don’t get me wrong I was very happy to have the Ethan moments but the only mention of Mia was when Rose said she hadn’t talked to her in a while or whatever. I personally don’t like Mia at all but damn if I didn’t want to know what she’s been getting up to and how her and Rose’s relationship turned out lol
I really enjoyed it the DLC, the horror elements, the additional plot, and that they also focused some more on an area that came a little short in the main game but was immensely memorable and liked by the fans, which was the Beneviento house. Like it didn't feel as grande as the castle or factory in the main game so it's great they gave it some more love ik the DLC. What I felt was a little more mediocre was Rose and her motivation. It was a little weak in my opinion. Of course one would rather be normal when bullied, it's a very common desire if only to just make it stop, and it was presented to her as simple and safe before, but it felt weird to me that they made a point several times that Rose could just return to the real world and escape the dangers and she still chose not to... for the sake of not being considered a freak? Which is a reputation that's hard to lose and there's no guarantee people wouldn't have called her that anyway, powers or not. Bullying is cruel and we all know it often doesn't have anything to do with something we can just change. Otherwise more people would do it, if only to escape the torment. But would they risk their lives for it? That's where I feel the motivation is a little weak. They could have easily found more convincing reasons, or at least added them on top of the bullying, why someone would risk their life to become "normal". Being constantly on the run because of being targeted by people planning to use her powers, other concerns about her powers like them possibly being dangerous, heck even just finding out more about her father would have felt more realistic. Since at the end of the day, most would not risk their lives for a chance at not being called a freak anymore. Emphasis on "a chance" since as I said, many people without powers are bullied and called freaks and it's just not that easy to get out of even if someone adjusts everything about themselves to fit in. Though I also would have been fine with her being told it was safe and then just not being told a couple of times she could just escape, since that makes it her decision and not just her getting caught up in the whole thing and having to go forward to get out. It's one thing to be promised a safe journey and have all hell break loose without means of escape and another to be promised a safe journey and then keep going when offered a safe way out just for the potential of not being called a freak anymore. It's especially not as impactful when we look at Ethan. He was trying to save the lives of his loved ones, so of course we can empathize that he would try to persevere. He often also had very little chance to just turn back and escape in the middle of nowhere. But with Rose... there were many better possibilities available as to why she wants to get rid of her powers but it mostly ever came down to being called a freak. I think that's my only complaint which makes it a really good DLC. Just Rose could have been developed a little more beyond the bullying. I think many people can emphasize with that but it's just not all. Especially when the ending but also some other sentences once again suggested there's a lot more going on.

I do LOVE the DLC, but as someone who came late to the game (my kid thinks that sleep is for the weak), the Chat Replay is almost equally, if not more, entertaining! I can't stop laughing at everyone's reaction to Beneviento House revisited.

Yeah Resident Evil Village was Just Resident Evil 4 Again but much much more unrelated and unconnected to the previous Events than 7. Im very glad they did Resident Evil 4 Justice with the Remake of 4. That is was more fatefull and true to Lore of the previous Events and Games and didnt twisted and messed Up the Timeline Like 7 and 8 did. Yeah im honestly i dislike Most of Resident Evil Village a Lot only good parts where the Doll House ,the factory Part and since i Love the movie the Host a Lot the section with the Fischmonster. The Castle section was annoing Like hell and i hated the fly Sisters and Lady demitress with passion.
