    An issue I’m having that I can’t seem to fix: the treadmill belt is centered when I am not on it. The belt stays centered when powered on. However, when I get on the belt it drifts to the right. I compensated by over adjusting the belt to the left so it ends up centered when I add my weight to it. I don’t know how to fix this and just have it centered and also stay centered with my weight.

    • @hydrafitnessexchange

      There could be several reasons. Front roller could not be properly adjusted. Floor could not be level or even levelers underneath the treadmill could not be level. These are things we suggest checking. Ultimately we recommend hiring a technician to further diagnose the issue. • @giggalz

    Is it possible to have it off centered at the top and no matter what adjustments you make it doesn’t realign?? Mine needed the motor replaced which lead into other things and with so many hands involved idk how we got here lol. I was asked to test it out and there was stopping to sliding which lead us to adjusting the walking belt..hours later it just won’t realign. The top of the belt is too far over and never moves towards the center. Nothing really talks about the top. You can get the bottom somewhat aligned but the top stays off to one side and wasn’t like that previously. When testing it out with weight the belt stops/slides

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  3 дня назад

      I am assuming you when you say, "top of belt" you mean the part of the belt that is near the motor hood correct? You can adjust the front roller via bolts that pin it in. That roller also has to be aligned properly which you can do by removing the motor hood and adjusting the bolts like you would the rear roller bolts. Quarter of a turn at a time and watch the belt adjust as the treadmill is on. Some treadmills you only have to adjust one side of the front roller since it just slides into a slot on the other side. I am assuming whoever replaced your motor (Drive motor?) probably loosened the front roller to get the drive belt off, then when reassembling they did not properly tighten the front roller during new motor installation. In any case we recommend getting a tech to further look at your issue lest things get worse: www.hydrafitnessexchange.com/technicians Hope this helps!

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  Год назад +2

      Sounds like it may be the drive motor dying. If the belt is too tight and has been run on for a long time, that puts more pressure on the drive motor to do more work at spinning the belt. You can try loosening the belt or you can try replacing the drive motor, but that would easily cost anywhere around $300-$500. May be much more worth it to just get another machine. @@Disorbs

      You should not tighten any of the bolts all the way. They should be fairly even with each other with minor tweaks. Here's a simple breakdown on how the belt moves: Loosen Left roller bolt - makes belt go left. Tighten Left roller bolt - belt goes right. Loosen right roller bolt - belt goes right. Tighten Right roller bolt - belt goes left. Hope this helps!

      @@joellediwan849 It may just need some tightening of the walking belt which you can access at the rear via two rear roller bolts on the left or right side of the treadmill. Just do a quarter of a turn on either side and check if the belt is still causing issues. The belt should be at the tightness where your hand can't reach across the whole surface if you put your hand underneath the belt. You should only be able to reach halfway or a bit under halfway. My threadmill says it doesnt need lubrication. But i have and still got the crease. What i do wrong?

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  Месяц назад

      A crease in the treadmill walking belt is caused because of an overtightened belt. The belt was probably too tight and needed to be loosened.

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  Месяц назад

      As for certain treadmills never needing lubrication, we highly recommend checking the owners manual about it's maintenance. There have been occasions where sales people will tell the customer that the treadmill will not need lubricating since it is pre-waxed or pre-lubed. All treadmills need maintenance though. If the manual confirms no need for lubrication, then you should be fine.

      We recommend abiding by the manual's instructions. If it seems really dry and you notice problems when running, refer to the manufacturer to see what you can use for it if a certain lubricant can be used.

    So my drive belt is has a bunch of shavings, but it’s also loose, a new belt would fix both problems?

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  2 месяца назад

      If there is a ton of drive belt shavings and the ribbing looks pretty worn (might have splits in it), we recommend replacing it. You will have to adjust the drive belt to be taut if it is loose. Treadmills have a way of adjusting the placement of the drive motor so the drive belt is pretty tight when it is installed. If you need another drive belt, we may have your model on our website. Please check www.hydrafitnessexchange.com/ for your particular model of machine.

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  Год назад +1

      Hi @endoneezer, in the video we mentioned you should lubricate your treadmill at least every 3-5 months under normal usage of the machine. You should not wait to hear squeaking before lubricating or any other sort of noise coming from the deck or belt. What you can do to be sure it's time is checking it every 3-5 months. You can simply loosen the walking belt, lift it, and place your hand on the deck, checking if the deck has any lubricant left on it. If it feels pretty dry, then you know its time to lubricate. If it feels still smooth like it has oil on it, then it should be good for sometime longer. Hope this helps! 😁

    How do you remove the drive belt on a superfit treadmill?

    • @hydrafitnessexchange
      @hydrafitnessexchange  7 месяцев назад

      Some treadmills, like incline trainers, give access to internal components on the underside of the machine. The super fit treadmill may have screws on the underside of the motor hood. Basically, flip the treadmill and you will find a shroud underneath with screws in it. You might be able to access the internal components after unscrewing those.
