The ending where J is thanking K was a real conversation between Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. MIB was one of Will's 1st movies and Tommy had put him under his wing (so to say). That is why K gets emotional, it was not "written"into the script per say. It was Will thanking Tommy, as it was their last time together, and will had become an accredited actor.
Bit of a classic for me. I saw this in the cinema for my 12th birthday, and only saw the first two a few weeks before that. Really like how they rounded off the trilogy. Josh Brolin nails the young K, in fact the whole time travel plot is covered really well. Overall just a solid film, much better than 2 I think.
Josh Brolin was perfect as a young “K” and yes he is Thanos. I have been a Tommy Lee Jones super fan since I was a kid and first watched the miniseries “Lonesome Dove” from 1989, if you are into westerns I highly recommend it. I never could’ve imagined that Brand from “The Goonies” would one day portray a younger version of a Tommy Lee Jones character, but here it is, and it is so good! The first in this series is still my favorite, it is the only one I saw in theaters. My Mom and I went to see it, I was 16, while everyone was hyped over Will Smith, I was hyped for Tommy Lee Jones 😆
I thought that was an interesting twist they had after the launch and what Agent J discovered. I have another time travel movie reaction suggestion for you. It's one of my favorites, The Final Countdown (1980) The U.S.S. Nimitz goes back to December 6th, 1941. It's filmed on the Nimitz. It's like Top Gun meets Back to the Future.
Fun Fact: producers wanted to do the time jump of the one world trade center as a tribute to its inauguration but it obviously wasn't completed yet. Not sure why they couldn't the empire state bldg much taller than chrysler but they settled for chrysler bldg. If only they could jump from the burg khalifa instead, it takes over 20 seconds to hit the ground on average from the top if someone leapt. Good reaction to an awesome movie!
This film is my favorite out of the MIB trilogy, nice time travel story and the emotional ending did it for me. I also liked MIB International,Tessa Thompson is so-GORGEOUS !!!! Hard to believe she's 40 yrs old, but, doesn't look it tho. I wanna be her baby's daddy. LOL.
Another fun reaction! I always enjoy your get to it pace. You keeps things moving, but also know how to focus and provide good commentary. It is always a pleasure watching your videos. Based on this reaction, I’d recommend watching “12 Monkeys” from 1995 and “The Butterfly Effect” directors cut and theatrical from 2004, there are enough significant differences to enjoy both 😄 “Predestination” from 2014 is another lesser known good time travel movie.
I saw this with my family on Blu Ray and we loved it! It was the final chapter in the Men In Black Trilogy. In 2019, there was Men In Black: International, but it was not well received by critics or fans.
You could say that J was just so talented, skilled, and fit for the job that he was destined to become an agent anyway regardless of circumstance.. it’s not the most satisfying explanation but it’s a theory anyway..
@@AdrianFlipflop J was there...he had a partner who knew him but J didn't know him. (Another odd issue with time travel here, is at this point in the past he was a child...so how could he be a child on a beach and also working at MIB???) Unless the guy who was getting him a chocolate milk was just a total idiot?
I love all 3 of the movies and this one made me emotional at the end what a great way to wrap it up knowing what K did for J all those years and I watched international didn’t like it much it’s was ok I guess seen it once won’t watch it twice I’ve seen these ones at least 10X each
many people like this one. part 4 the last one, does not have J or K, brought back a lot of practical make up, has some CGI moments and empowered a woman as the main character you can decide from that if its your thing or not
MIB 4 is not worth watching at all. Different cast, the writing isn't very good. You can watch it if you want, but it makes the 2nd MIB look amazing....
Tell me in your honest opinion. What did you think of the Northman. Btw I love men in black growing up. Especially part 3 it was epic. Watch men in black international next.
So many things wrong with this movie I could point out but it’s still my favorite lol. I can look past all the stupid crap in it cause it’s that good imo. Like why didn’t the lunar max guards have better security more armed guards… why didn’t they shoot boris as soon as he walked thru the door before he blew a whole in the prison. The fact that j time travels to defeat Boris but there isn’t another version of himself there/even if he time traveled he should’ve still been hit with Boris needle things

WAITAMINUTE! THAT DUDE. The old dude in charge of the agency. That's Sledge Hammer! What an awesome nod of the head =)
This movie is awesome! Not only a great movie but a great sequel
Agreed
Loved this one. It's between 1 and this one for me. BTW, what a GORGEOUS kitty!

The make love not war gal is the daughter of the director, she was the little girl in the post office second movie.
Looks like her too

Yeah, I've been told by sooo many people and comments to avoid MIB International.
@@NewfieMovieReactionsYou can watch it if you really want, but it's far worse then MIB 2....
@@NewfieMovieReactions yeah I avoided it
So glad you watched this one!! It's my absolute favorite of the trilogy.
Brolin absolutely makes this movie. I almost forget that he’s not Tommy Lee jones
First one is my fave, just because it is the first but 3 a defo close 2nd place.
This is my favorite 1. It always makes me cry though. 😅😅❤❤
based
Will Smith: "and really I just wanna say thank you"
Tommy Lee Jones: "it's been my privilege"
Heartwarming quote
Yes this one is def my favorite of the 3. I thunk it had more heart and meaning. ❤
I was hoping you’d watch this one and not be deterred too much by number 2 :) 3 might be my favorite as well
Have you seen "The Final Countdown" (1980)? - interesting time travel movie.
I have not. Thanks for the suggestion.
What I don't get with the time travel thing here, is, K is the one who brought J into the MIB...so who brought J in, if K was killed 40 years prior?
You could say that J was just so talented, skilled, and fit for the job that he was destined to become an agent anyway regardless of circumstance.. it’s not the most satisfying explanation but it’s a theory anyway..
@@5634TY My guess is it was a writing error.
J wasn't in MIB in that timeline that's why they were gonna scrub him and bounce him

10:34 That's the waitress from 2 that J set his former parter up with
Why didn't J just keep him in the MIB?
I love the MIB trilogy and I'm glad you got to enjoy it as well. Just an overall feel good but equally hilarious alien good time.
This one is my favorite also 🙂 The new MIB is no where near as good as the originals, but it's still good entertainment 🙂
It's Just BORIS!!!
Fun Fact: Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee Jones work together in No Country For Old Men.
thanks for mentioning this
Best MIB movie ever
Have you ever seen the time travel tv show Timeless? It's an excellent show! Good show to react to...hint, hint...lol!
I have not seen Timeless yet no. I hope to check it out in the future.
A lot of people lost everything from the Wall Street crash and then some of them killed themselves by jumping off buildings.
that's really screwed up
