  • I'm so glad that I picked up this kit! I'm really excited that @Round2foryou has released one of my favourite Batmobiles onto the market once again. I almost wish I had nothing to build as I'd be starting this one right away.
I haven't done and inbox review in a long, long time. And I mentioned that I wasn't going to again unless the kit was really worth talking about, and well I think that this one is worth the fuss :)

I may not like all the Batman films but I like all the Batmobiles including the new one.

I’m really looking forward to see how you do paint it. Be nice if you did a step by step build.

Cool kit! I'm waiting for my AMT 1:25 Batman & Robin batmobile to arrive soon. Hope everything goes well. It would be the first I'll assemble and I'm a bit nervous about that.

Me too, I've never really built a car model before, but I keep buying them for some reason.

It's a Nice kit. I built it back when it first came out. I don't remember any issues. I'll be watching

The parts that you couldn't remember what they were are called mudguards.

I was watching a vidoe earlier this week where they were talking about all of the deleted scenes for this movie, and Joel Shumacher had a really cool idea for this film and trying to discover why Bruce Wayne feels he needs to be Batman. And Two Face was going to be a more in depth character instead of a goofy laugh box. It's a shame we never got this more serious version of the movie.

Looking forward to the build. I noticed the instruction sheet does not include decal placement so I'm curious as to where all those grey ovals go. PS: What video editing software do you use? (I like how it can put letter text like you did with the correction of "fenders" at the 9:29 mark.)

Good eye Dario, I had to double chack those myself. They go into the side walls of the interior tub, they are in a sort of funny position. I use Adobe Premier Elements, it's a pretty good editing system, however, it has a harder time working with some of my videos when they are nearly all edited up. There are times when it will tend to lag, which is appearently a common issue.

In Batman forever the moment that the middle fin split in 2 happens where Dick Grayson took the Batmobile for a drive around Gotham City.

I just had to check that scene again, I don't know how I never noticed that, but there it is, thanks for pointing that out :) I knew that it split, there is a Batmobile documentary from Warner Bros that came out after the The Dark Knight Rises, and they go into some great detail on all of the Batmobiles.

I'll be honest. I don't remember this Batmobile! I've seen the movie, but I have no recollection of it. I've never built a Batmobile, either. No idea why as I love the movies. I've seen a Keaton Batmobile at a car show a few years ago. I remember it taking what seemed like forever to get a photo of it because people kept walking in front of it! Fun fact...the double R emblems on the wheels of Rolls Royces are weighted to stay upright.

There are some recent Bnadai 1:32 Batmobile kits that are reappearing on the market. They look like a lot of fun and they have a nice collection of the different styles. I'd love to see these Batmobiles all in a row one day, they'd be amazing to see all polished up and detailed, but for now I'll try and settle for them in a small scale :)

This car always reminded me of a black rubber sandal on flashy wheels and with bat-like fins or ailerons 😅
By the way, talking on those fins: there seems to be no accurate info on them, but my guess is that they fold open when Batman drives on the streets of Gotham and other bendy roads, so as to probably generate more downforce than the single vertical fin, but it´s just a guessing, nonetheless.
I hope that AMT reedit as well the Batwing from that movie, because it looked shocking to me, as against the car.

      Haha, now I can't unsee that it's a sandal!
I do believe that the Batwing is on the release schedule from Round 2 models, and possibly the Batboat.

@@rebelsatcloudnine Most Batmobiles reminded me of something. The Keaton-Burton impressive Batmobile reminded me of a kind of brutal Porsche; Clooney-Schumacher Batmobile looked like a highly modified and highly customized convertible from the 60s; Bale-Bay Batmobile... well, one of those fictional semi-tank toys for children, but in a larger scale. And Pattison´s Batmobile resembles quite much a jet-powered Ford Mustang.
The old Revell Batwing (of which I still have one) was catalogued as 1/32nd scale if I remember well, but actually the size of the seat and cockpit are much closer to a 1/48th kit. What I didn't like about that Batwing is that it had a car steering wheel, rather than a yoke or at least a horned steering wheel like that of airliners. Well, it´s a sci-fi machine, with barely any info on its cockpit, so I guess that we are free to make whatever modification into the cockpit we want...
