Bought one of these today. Never put together a model car. Now I’m wondering what I’ve got myself into lol. Don’t think putting the car together will be too bad but that tiny detail painting on the Batman will be a task. Good video and nice job on the build!
Great video and nice build. looks great! I built this kit back in the 90's when it first came out, didn't come with the Batman figure back then. I'm thinking I need to pick one of these reissued kits up and re-build it for my channel. I just subbed so I will be checking out more of your videos. Have a great day. -David
I thought assembling the body to the chassis would require it to be glued, but apparently it's not necessary. Did it fit well o did you have to struggle a bit with that part?
@@seeds4hobbies Thank you for the reply! I'm currently waiting for my AMT 1997 Batmobile model kit to arrive soon, a bit scared of messing it up, it will be my first build.
You did good but I got a couple of tips for you first dethrone your parts before painting. Second Always scrape paint away from where you are gluing two surfaces together as you get better adhesion and third fill your seams before you paint
Is there a specific website that you got your brushes or just like from Walmart or something I legit just got this same model kit today this is my firs time doing one
Bro you put so many parts in completely wrong you must have had a struggle fitting the base, you should read teh instructions first and test fit, you seemed like you were in a big rush for the videos sake, take your time and understand how it goes together first and also you don't need to use so much cement

Thanks for the comment! The figure was definitely a nice bonus with the kit.

I did glue the chassis and body together and they fit together very well, no issue at all!

@@joingaramo17how did it come out
Just got mine. Good vid.
Way too small... Do you know where we could find a large model kit version of the Batmobile, about Sixt to ten scale???
I never seen a large scale version of this kit...might be out of luck or make something custom

Nothing specific, I got my brushes from Walmart in the art section, the least expensive set they got. Good luck on your build!
Cool beans
Effective
Is there a specific paint you are using that doesn't need a primer?
Yup Rust-oleum paint, doesnt need a primer just make sure the parts are clean before painting
👍
Is there another glue I can use for that
There is also Testors brand glue you can use for these.
Where did you get your paints at
Local hobby store!
What type of glue did you use and where can i get one
I use Tamiya Cement it is the best! You can get it at a local hobby shop.
