Once you open your eyes to the world of logical fallacies you might realize the opposite is the case.
What a lot of you think is that because we looked into science and do not believe in a concept of god and the concept of god is wrong there is no God. You think that because next man called David appointed some “logical fallacies” and tries to prove that God doesn’t exist because of that is stupid. I mean I’m not saying this is the only argument that atheists make but it is one of the main ones “There are 3000 gods I only believe in one less than you.” Anyone with a brain seed how stupid such arguments are not to offend anyone. If you are trying to use logical fallacies to disprove a religion note the fallacies in your own arguments it is absurd and then you use jokes or an ironic based statement to try and show that you strongly disbelieve in God.
Just because we believe in God does not necessarily mean that we do not look into why you disbelieve in God. I have listened to many atheists and there arguments yet I still have faith in God, why you may ask because the contradictions you set always seem to have answers and the debates between theists and atheists seems to continue and continue. Just because someone’s a theist doesn’t necessarily mean that what they believe in is stupid and wrong just because it sounds like it.
I mean there are clouds that way hundreds of tons, the idea of the earths early atmosphere and Darwinism it all sounds stupid but we believe in it because of EVIDENCE not proof. I mean you haven’t seen a the Earth like a billion years ago have you, you haven’t picked up that cloud or you didn’t see microorganisms evolve into us today but because scientists have made theories or calculated something we believe in it. But because a theist presents evidence you immediately believe that he/she is wrong.
Usually it's because the theist is unconvincing / has no actual evidence. So just because a theist thinks he or she has evidence, that doesn't make it the case that they do have evidence. It's their job to convince atheists that they do.

The Qur'an isn't the word of Allah, it's the word of the men that wrote it. It contains fiction which came from People's imaginations, hallucinations, dreams, hearsay and assumptions regarding the destructive parts of nature. A meteor for example. They assumed a God was punishing them. There was no God punishing them. A meteor hits different parts of the earth at random and a meteor would hit that part of earth whether People were there or not. Meteors hit the oceans too. God is either a terrible shot, or he's angry at flipper. The Qur'an is scientifically flawed. Interpret what's written in the Qur'an however you want, but you're deluding yourself, and you know it. Your mind has been shackled by ancient superstition. Hell isn't real either. The assumption of there being a hell containing fire and it being down below, came from People witnessing lava coming from the down below.

ramoramo86 We know there were at least 4 versions of the Qur’an being read during the reign of Uthman (these were collated 2 years after the death of Muhammad).
Let’s not forget Salim, who could quote large verses of the Qur’an was killed a year after Mohammad’s death thus losing a lot of the original a year before the first 4 versions were collated.
It was 35 years later when the military Muslim conquerors started questioning the purity of the Qur’an was it politically decided to create one version and burn all previous evidence (thus being a strong political strategy to keep all together as a conquering force).
The question should be do you follow blindly the drum of the politicians who enjoy power or do you question what is in front of you with the free thought the All ah gave you?

Allah created time and is “transcendent” which means He is not part of the flow of time. However, He is also “immanent” which means He involves in what happens within His creation.

The moment you say who created God will come to a direct answer that the one who created god is more superior. And therefore we say that Allah is uncreated. That's why in Surah al ikhlas 112 Allah says that, "Say he is God, the One.

There is *nothing comparable* with him."
This chapter proves that Allah is not like how you think. Allah is uncreated.
Even scientists say that before big bang, there was no time. So the one who caused it is Allah and all of this are his plans. Meaning Allah is uncreated and doesn't require any time to cause effects on him, as time is also created by him alone.
The moment you think if God needs gravity then I'll say that you have misconceptions, as gravity is also created by the creator. In the outer space you won't see gravity. Can you think the one who created outer space will be in need of gravity?
Suppose, you uploaded a video on youtube. The moment someone will say if your video was uncreated, you'll say that this guy is mad, right? And if someone comments in your uploaded video as to where is the father or mother of this video, then you'll say "damn, this man is crazy!" Right?
The same way Allah is not a man nor does he have to be associated with any partners, parents, friends, family, etc. Allah is not a man but the, creator of the man. Allah is not a plant, but the creator of the plant. Allah is not universe but the creator of the universe. Neither you, nor any other human being can imagine Allah as our brain it too little to imagine the creator of 7 heavens and the earth. I have a question for you now, "CAN YOU SEE THE SUN FOR MORE THAN 10-15 OR 20 Minutes?" If the answer is NO then how can you see the one who created that sun? How can you see Allah, who created it?

There can be many odd quotations, so it is important to know the real source.
I use quran.com for my English translations. They are fully checked a Sahih. There is Sahih International, Picthall, Yusif Ali and other. There can be slight variations between them.
For Hadith, I use hadithcollections.com. Again, I feel this a reliable and Sahih source.
I provide the chapter and verse numbers. Perhaps you would like to select one or two , so that we can talk about them in details. It will take a lot of time to talk about all in detail.

As an atheist American, I have seen plenty of that blind faith, they seem to not live by the rules they claim to follow. I think that's the sign of someone born into a tradition rather than actual personal investment. I can't say I'm not an atheist after this, but I appreciate how the Muslims I've seen approach these topics. Definitely would like to learn more

The Qur'an is God's Words:
In the name of Allah(God), The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
All besides those believers who have pure faith, irrespective of which religious background they claim to have come from, merely a single sign would suffice them to believe in the existence of One God, whether it be a sign concerning a scientific phenomenon or any other sign. Where as, on the other hand, there are people who would never believe even if a thousand signs are presented to them, such people would never accept faith and as such they are the Rejectors; there may be a third sect/group/category of people who may be convinced if proper efforts are made, either by means of science and technology, or by reasoning and with logic or by any other technique.
As today is the age of science and technology, the best approach we have is the use of scientifically proven and established facts, excluding hypotheses and theories (which lack solid evidence) in order to convince an atheist or an agnostic or any other individual who may not believe that the Qur'an is the revelation of God, as no human being could ever mention such scientific facts in the Qur'an, 14 centuries back which the humanity has unveiled/discovered very recently,with the help of rapidly growing technology and the advances made by the modern scientific world.
Majority of the people who disagree with the fact that the Qur'an has been sent down by God, revealed to the last and final messenger and servant of God, i.e. prophet Mohammad (pbuh), when asked about the reason they disbelieve, what they come up with is that they falsely claim that the Qur'an must have been written by prophet Mohammad himself as they do not have any better explanation for not believing in the Qur'an or Allah.
With the help of mathematics, we can refute their baseless claim (that Muhammad is the author of the Qur'an, they even fail to realise that he was an Ummi,i.e. he was unlettered/illiterate!).
Nevertheless,even for the sake of an argument, let us be kind enough to give them a benefit of doubt, and say that may be, prophet Muhammad wrote the Qur'an (though we never agree!).
Now we shall refute their false claim with the help of what we know in mathematics as 'The Probability Theory'.
Probability is basically concerned with the likelihood or the chance of something happening/taking place or not happening for which we make certain guesses/flukes or predictions at random and calculate the chance of our choice or guess coming true as a number or percentage.
Probability has a range of 0-1. Having a probability of 0 implies the impossibility of the occurence of the event we are dealing with, on the other hand, probability of 1 means that the event is sure to occur, thus affirming a 100% possibility of the occurrence of the event we are dealing with. Any number in between would indicate that the event may either occur or not.
For example,if you toss or flip a coin(fair), there are(a total of), two possibilities, it may either land up with a head or tail, whatever choice you make the mathematical chance/probability of your guess being rightat random is 1 out of 2,i.e. 1/2 or 50%.
Further, if you have a die (having 6 faces) and you roll it, the chance of your guess-number coming on the top is 1/6 as there are a total of 6 distinct choices to make.
Similarly,if you roll the die 2 times in succession/consecutively or roll two dice simultaneously (both yield the same result, these are termed as 'independent events' meaning that the two (or more) events have no influence/impact on one another; they yield independent results) what you'll see is, the probability of both your choices being right at the same time is merely
(1/6)×(1/6) i.e. 1/36 which is < 3%.
Now,if you roll the die 3 times successively,the chance of you making the right choice all three times,just at random is
(1/6)×(1/6)×(1/6) i.e. 1/216 which is < 0.5%.
Let us now consider the compound event of tossing the coin 2 times and rolling the die 4 times,the probability of you making the correct choices all 6 times is therefore
(1/2)×(1/2)×(1/6)×(1/6)×(1/6)×(1/6)=(1/2)^2 × (1/6)^4 =(1/4)×(1/1296)=1/5184 which is ~ 0.02%.
Let me generalize the method for you.
If you repeat an experiment for n different times and all of which must deal with independent events as in our case here, fortunately; and you have a probability of, say 'p' for each of the individual events and of course 0 < p < 1.
Now you want to calculate the probability of you making the correct choice all 'n' times i.e. each time you making the right choice without a single mistake..
It is p^n,i.e. 'p' raised to the power of 'n'.
For those who are good at maths, they can readily see that this number, p^n quickly reaches 0 when |p| < 1 and n is let increase!!
Praise be to Allah SWT,all the Qur'anic verses that talk about scientific phenomena can be modelled as ' the independent events' in this very analysis of ours.
And the holy Qur'an contains more than 1,000 (out of more than 6,000 verses in total) verses which speak about science. And more than 800 of which have already been supported by established scientific facts.
1.
For example, the Qur'an says that the light of the moon is not its own light but rather, it is the reflected light of the sun (the moon reflects the light from the sun onto the earth), for this one people (at the time of the revelation of the Qur'an,i.e. at the time of the prophet) could have made two choices (if they were asked, hypothetically) i.e. the light of the moon could be the light of its own or it could be the borrowed light of the sun.

Similarly, the Qur'an talks about the spherical shape (more accurately, the geo-spherical shape, as the earth is slightly flattened at the poles and slightly bulging out at the equatorial region,i.e. the 'circle of maximum diameter').
People could have thought of various shapes for the earth such as flat, triangular,rectangular etc. So, lfor this particular one, the number of choices would be more than 2.

The Qur'an states that the Sun also rotates (about its own axis)...people couldn't even have thought of this, at the time of the prophet as this one is a very very recent discovery, we came to know about this hardly a few decades earlier. So even for this particular one, there would be 2 choices to make, the Sun may either rotate or not! (For the sake of argument only!)
4.
The Qur'an talks, in a nutshell, about the birth of our universe which the scientists today call the Big Bang, it may be right or wrong. ..So for this too, we would have 2 choices.
5.
The Qur'an talks about the interstellar matter, called 'plasma' by the scientists. Again, could be right or wrong. ..So 2 choices for this too.
6.
The Qur'an states that our universe has been expanding. Again, could be right or wrong. .So for this too, we have 2 choices.
And so on..
The Qur'an talks about scientific phenomena,over and over again, for more than 1,000 times.
Each verse which talk about a scientific phenomenon, can be attributed a number of choices we can think of, as above. These choices vary, from 2 (which is the least/minimum number of choices) to larger numbers, for instance,in the case of the earth, we could think of more than a dozen of possible shapes!
Let's restrict ourselves to 2 (as the number of choices), clearly seeing that even the least number of choices would give us the desired result and if we consider more number of choices, we get to the result even more quickly.
As a challenge to the people, I'll prove my logic even with the least number of choices as the Qur'an, with no doubts, is the book of God.
Proceeding with 2 choices as the flukes/guesses for each of the verses which speak about science, what we find is, the probability or the mathematical chance of one making the correct choice all 800 times, i.e. making the right choice for each of the verses each and every single time is...
Using, probability = p^n with p = 1/2 and n = 800...
Probability(P) = (1/2)^800 = 1/(2)^800
The number 2^800, i.e. 2 raised to the power of 800 is a very huge number though it may not appear so, so huge that the number
1/(2)^800 is literally negligible and is considered 0 (zero/nill) in practical mathematics.
The number of choices that could be thought of,for the scientific verses of the Qur'an is not merely 2 as we have used above!!
We could've used more than 2 choices in which case we'd have arrived at the answer of 0 even more quickly.
So,even in the most probable case (using the least number of choices, i.e.2), the probability of the scientific verses being written in the noble Qur'an by (any) a human being is 0.
The Qur'an,thus,can never be the work of a human. It must have come from a divine source. The only being Who could mention such facts in the Qur'an must be the Creator Himself Who possesses All The Knowledge.

Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.
5.ABOUT MOUNTAIN FOLDING
A.Surah An-Naba V-7
وَّالۡجِبَالَ اَوۡتَادًا
and fixed the mountains like pegs
B.Surah Al-Anbya V-31
وَجَعَلۡنَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ رَوَاسِىَ اَنۡ تَمِيۡدَ بِهِمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيۡهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُوۡنَ
And We placed firm mountains on earth lest it should sway with them,30 and We made wide paths31 in them that they may find their way
6.BARRIER BETWEEM SALTY AND SWEET WATER OF OCEANS
Surah Al-Furqan V-53
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ مَرَجَ الۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ هٰذَا عَذۡبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَّهٰذَا مِلۡحٌ اُجَاجٌ ۚ وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخًا وَّحِجۡرًا مَّحۡجُوۡرًا
And He it is Who has joined the two seas: one sweet and palatable and the other saltish and bitter; and He has set a barrier and an insurmountable obstruction between the two that keeps them apart.
7.HUMAN BEINGS ARE MADE OF WATER
Surah Al-Anbya
اَوَلَمۡ يَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اَنَّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ كَانَـتَا رَتۡقًا فَفَتَقۡنٰهُمَا ؕ وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنَ الۡمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىۡءٍ حَىٍّ ؕ اَفَلَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
Did the unbelievers (who do not accept the teaching of the Prophet) not realize that the heavens and the earth were one solid mass, then We tore them apart,28 and We made every living being out of water?29 Will they, then, not believe
8.FRUIT ARE MADE IN SEX MALE AND FEMALE WHICH WE KNOW RECENTLY
Surah Ar-Rad V-3
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ مَدَّ الۡاَرۡضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيۡهَا رَوَاسِىَ وَاَنۡهٰرًا ؕ وَمِنۡ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيۡهَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ اثۡنَيۡنِ يُغۡشِى الَّيۡلَ النَّهَارَ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّـقَوۡمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ
He it is Who has stretched out the earth and has placed in it firm mountains and has caused the rivers to flow. He has made every fruit in pairs, two and two, and He it is Who causes the night to cover the day.Surely there are signs in these for those who reflect
9.ANIMALS LIVE IN COMMUNITIES WHICH WE KNOW RECENTLY
Surah Al-Anam V-38
وَمَا مِنۡ دَآبَّةٍ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَلَا طٰۤـئِرٍ يَّطِيۡرُ بِجَنَاحَيۡهِ اِلَّاۤ اُمَمٌ اَمۡثَالُـكُمۡؕ مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِى الۡـكِتٰبِ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ ثُمَّ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ يُحۡشَرُوۡنَ
There is no animal that crawls on the earth, no bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book (of decree). Then to their Lord will they all be mustered.
10.WORKER BEES
Surah An-Nahl V-69
ثُمَّ كُلِىۡ مِنۡ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ فَاسۡلُكِىۡ سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا ؕ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡۢ بُطُوۡنِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ اَلۡوَانُهٗ فِيۡهِ شِفَآءٌ لِّلنَّاسِؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ
then suck the juice of every kind of fruit and keep treading the ways of your Lord which have been made easy." There comes forth from their bellies a drink varied in colours, wherein there is healing for men.Verily there is a sign in this for those who reflect.
11.LIFE STYLE OF AN ANT AND SPIDER
Surah Al-Ankabut
مَثَلُ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اَوۡلِيَآءَ كَمَثَلِ الۡعَنۡكَبُوۡتِ ۖۚ اِتَّخَذَتۡ بَيۡتًا ؕ وَ اِنَّ اَوۡهَنَ الۡبُيُوۡتِ لَبَيۡتُ الۡعَنۡكَبُوۡتِۘ لَوۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ
The case of those who took others than Allah as their protectors is that of a spider who builds a house; but the frailest of all houses is the spider's house; if they only knew.
Surah An-Naml V-18
حَتّٰٓى اِذَاۤ اَتَوۡا عَلٰى وَادِ النَّمۡلِۙ قَالَتۡ نَمۡلَةٌ يّٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّمۡلُ ادۡخُلُوۡا مَسٰكِنَكُمۡۚ لَا يَحۡطِمَنَّكُمۡ سُلَيۡمٰنُ وَجُنُوۡدُهٗۙ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَ
O ants, get into your holes, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under their feet) without even knowing.
12.IT SPEAKS ABOUT GENETICS
Surah Al-Qiyamah V 38-40
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوّٰىۙ
then he became a clot, and then Allah made it into a living body and proportioned its parts,
فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ الزَّوۡجَيۡنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالۡاُنۡثٰىؕ
and then He made of him a pair, male and female?
اَلَيۡسَ ذٰلِكَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ يُّحۡـىِۦَ الۡمَوۡتٰى
Does He, then, not have the power to bring back the dead to life?
13.EMBRYLOGY
A.Surah Al-Alaq
خَلَقَ الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍۚ
created man from a clot of congealed blood.
B.Surah Al-Muminun V 12-13
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ سُلٰلَةٍ مِّنۡ طِيۡنٍ
We created man out of the extract of clay,
ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنٰهُ نُطۡفَةً فِىۡ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيۡنٍ
then We made him into a drop of life-germ, then We placed it in a safe depository.
14.FINGERPRINTING was discovered in 1880
Surah Al-Qiyamah V 3-4
اَيَحۡسَبُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اَلَّنۡ نَّجۡمَعَ عِظَامَهٗؕ
Does man imagine that We will not be able to bring his bones together again?
بَلٰى قٰدِرِيۡنَ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهٗ
Yes indeed; We have the power to remould even his finger-tips.
15.PAIN RECEPTORS OF SKIN first it was thought that only brain is responsible for pain reception
Surah An-NISA V 56
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا سَوۡفَ نُصۡلِيۡهِمۡ نَارًا ؕ كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتۡ جُلُوۡدُهُمۡ بَدَّلۡنٰهُمۡ جُلُوۡدًا غَيۡرَهَا لِيَذُوۡقُوا الۡعَذَابَ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَزِيۡزًا حَكِيۡمًا
Surely We shall cast those who reject Our signs into the Fire; and as often as their skins are burnt out, We shall give them other skins in exchange that they may fully taste the chastisement. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Not a single verse of the Quran says that the earth is flat. The Quran only compares the earth's crust with a carpet. It says that the land is spread out like a carpet and is accesible by you through roads and channels. It is possible to spread a carpet on a large sphere such as the earth. The crust is also very much like a carpet, it covers the inner molten layers so we can walk on it. Isn't it interesting that the word carpet, a floor covering that we use to avoid the harshness of the floor is used to describe the earth. If god wanted to call the earth flat he would have said it was flat. But instead he used carpet which gives a very good indication about the knowledge of the structure of the earth, which was many centuries ahead of its time.

Cypher Punk And plus, when he’s talking about the Shahada, I’m pretty sure what he’s describing the Shahada as is not what it was meant to be in Islam. When the Shahada says, “There is no god but Allah”, it’s saying Allah’s the only god, it’s not incorporating some Atheist’s journey in the beginning then transforming him into a Muslim in the middle of the Shahada. Zakir Naik doesn’t make any sense here.

I did eventually watch the second half of this talk and found it so bad I couldn't be bothered responding. I am glad to see it's not just us Athiests that think Zakir Naik is a joke, I truly enjoyed David Wood he got right to the point and didn't waste time with it. The only thing I think he missed is he repetitively pointed out refusing debates with Christians, when multiple Jews, Athiests and even other Muslims have been refused. Apart from that I gotta say it was a great video. I also watched the video he linked by Nabiel Koreshi, what an intelligent guy he found 25 faults with Zakir Naik's talk and I found 4. I hope that some day I can be half as intelligent as Mr Koreshi.

No, the definition of God is objective. If God can be compared to another thing/being, this means said other thing posseses Gods attributes making said thing God, and to be God you have to be the necessary being of the universe, if there are 2 gods that means neither are neccesary because the other one also exists, thus validating those 2 Gods

God is only one. He is universal, super-intelligent, super-consciousness and he is within his creation and creation is within him. Just like us - our soul or intelligent consciousness is within our body. In Islam, God is also someone formless called Allah but he is believed to be existing separate from his creation. That's the difference in concept of God between Hinduism and Islam. Who is right and who is wrong depends on one's level of intelligence which is a result of our intelligence or mental evolution over many many lifetimes. Humans are the highest evolved in intelligent consciousness. It takes many lifetimes to realise what is the absolute truth but it will take only one lifetime if you seek God from within you through meditation by awakening his super-consciousness or kundalini shakti within each one of us until it manifests in a state of enlightenment.
God's super-consciousness is present everywhere, within every atom, molecule & space and is also within every living thing in the core of the individual soul or consciousness. We are like fishes swimming in the ocean but do not realise that it is the ocean that sustains us and we are both within the ocean and the ocean is within us This is simply due to our limited material senses.
