TO COOK THE NOPALES
8 paddles of nopales (you can use canned or jarred nopales if you really want to skip the cooking process but i’ve never made it like that)
1 whole onion, quartered
3 garlic cloves
salt to taste (use a generous amount)
TO MAKE THE SALAD
2 cups cooked nopales
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 limes (more if needed)
1 serrano pepper
3 roma tomatoes
1/2 bunch cilantro
salt to taste

i just want this to be a space where i can fully express myself and confidently be who i am and maybe hopefully that inspires at least one person watching to do the same. idk. i’m on a journey and so i’m sharing it with the world and that’s all. lol hope you come along for the ride. :)
*if you’ve read this far, please leave yellow emojis in the comment section lol i would really love to know who (if anyone) actually reads these things lol also yellow is my favorite color :D Хобби
I love the idea of soaking the onions in lime juice!
You have to cut the tomatoes 🍅 on the meat side! Chef Don Julio
Try cutting the tomatoes with a “bread knife” the done with the many spikes, it’s easier.
I definitely i love if i am looking for healthy recipes. Thanks for sharing.
I only had the jarred nopales but jarred is better than none. Thank you for the recipe.
Turn the sliced tomatoes with skin side down. It’s easier to slice through the flesh first. 😊
I lost my recipe for this salad! So happy to find yours! Mouth mouth is watering!
💛Grew up eating it without the lime but now I like it this way the best! ( we can't eat too much spice so we left it out and it still was great!)
Love this recipe…❤😊❤❤❤!!! Margarita
We Asians can’t live without ramyeon. Putting this into spicy Shin n it tastes like heaven
im not asian but im native american and my grandma always made this in southern california. i love shin ramyun, and that sounds like a fantastic addition!!
Cut the tomatoes the other way (from the meat side) you’ll see a BIG DIFFERENCE in cutting it!

AMAZING YUMMY 😋 NOPALAS SALAD THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME
I see your knife is dull
Maybe use a small knife or a small steak knife or bread knife
Tomatoes are weird to cut lol me too
I think it is annoying because your knife is not sharp enough. Change your knife and you will see the difference .
I think wat u really hate is ur knife its like chopping with a stick
