Just had my 1320 UEL installed and love the sound. Only thing, my exhaust guy said I need to get the flange spring bolts that connect at the donut flange. I notice you have just bolts as well. Said it could break welds or pipe if not. Supposed to be there for pipe flex under torque. Unless you have stiff motor mounts. Guessing you do?

If you happen to come across a Jack Spania tubular upper radiator support mounted on a EG/EJ at the track or anywhere else it would be great to get a review. I'm about to purchase one but they are spendy$

Wish we could have heard it idled Down and a driving sound check of the straight pipe and old muffler as well for a good comparison. Just curious what the different tones were.
I've got the 1320 UEL header with a Yonaka exhaust on my CRX and it sounds nice.
I got some 1320 'stainless' stuff but it already rusted out and busted a few welds. They refused to return any of my calls. I would buy from anyone else.

Wow i had no idea companies were putting R&D into developing new header designs for b series much less d series anymore. This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside that old wchool honda builds arent being left behind. I really need to see dyno conparisons on these, any links to some info on that?

Totes random, but it's what brought me to your channel. Can you install a 90 Si rear swaybar on a base 89 EF? Car has the holes but no threads on body side.

@GarageBuiltHondas Unfortunately not close. I will find some nutserts that fit. The bushing in the trailing arm was bad. Hopefully that fixes the weird squatting problem I had until I get the inserts. Thanks for the reply. Great channel.
That sounds good man, wish I was a little closer to El Paso I’d hook you up with the welding. Give you a few lessons so you can skip paying people for something that’s relatively easy. Wanted to ask about the lack of power steering, you have a special steering rack or just raw dogging it?
That'd be nice, appreciate that, would be cool! No power steering doesn't bother me anymore, as long as it's a true non power rack. Power racks looped I think feel weird.
Sound good did you notice any increase in performance ?
I have not. Many say you lose some HP. The car needs a tune to be running correctly also.

How did the power curve change after dynoing it with the UEL header vs an equal length header?
Its terrible for power. Pretty much kills anything you had in terms of chances of power. Just sounds ok. Both Jackspania and 1320 got theirs from some Chinese company and just rebranded it

I asked because I have a 89 Honda prelude si. It haves obd0 and I'm having trouble finding a tuner to chip my ecu. How hard was it to convert it to obd1?
It's an easy job.
Ever had a d series idle at 2k rpm ?
Could be a lot of small problems.
clean map sensor and maf sensor with CRC/contact cleaner, check for vacuum leaks, clean iacv , clean throttle plate
Did it actually decrease power like the theory suggests?
I'm unsure, if it's been proven before then this probably did the same.

Couldn't tell ya. Haven't looked into it either. It's not important to me since it's a fun car. As long as it starts.

What makes you say they are trash? Is this an old design, I've never seen it, figured it was a small company making small runs of custom header designs. Have you seen Dyno comparisons?
