After a request from a subscriber, i decided to reassemble most of the register unit and show what ive fixed so far, all keys working, cash counter and 'no sale' counter working, and fixed the cash drawer mechanism! all good news!

I was wondering if you ever fixed the repeated money counter issue which caused the keys to jam? And if so, what did you do, or what tips could you offer towards the money counter problems?

I seemed to have, yes. I simply oiled everything with gun oil (Remoil), typewriter oil is hard to find these days, lol! Meticulous oiling, and striking of the keys to work it in, was trying to avoid taking all of the major components apart
