Hi Dave!! I am new to using the TK plugins. But what I see I like very much. So that said I am a beginner in luminosity masking. I tried to follow your steps in creating a sky and foreground channel but when i do it they are inverted. In sky selection (cmd + sky selection) it turns out inverted. Sky is black and foreground is white. When I hold cmd and double click sky selection my foreground is also inverted. It is black instead of white. (I watched the free Sean Bagshaw's videos. And also watched Christopher O'Donnel's luminosity for lightroom and photoshop videos to get a grasp. I do plan on getting Seans button by button guid too. I will be watching all your TK9 videos to learn further. As for my issue above, I don't know what I'm doing wrong in the TK9 Modules. Thank you in advance :)
Thanks for being a part of TK Friday. For the issue you are experiencing try this: Click on the hamburger menu in the upper right corner of either the Combo or CX panel, whichever one you are using. Change the language to a different language and then change it back to your language. I think this might correct your issue...
@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Hi Dave, thank you for responding :) I tried with both the cx and the combo panel. I also reloaded each panel. I can't understand why this is happening. I am using PS Beta 25.4.0. I figured I would try in PS 2024 25.3.1 and it worked perfectly in that version. I should have tried that first lol live and learn!! Thank you again so much. I am sure I will be here quite a bit.
What is the plugin with the blue fly icon under the fxbox one? Thanks
The quick channel feature seems very useful, but all the others require me to edit all the time to remember them.
Thanks for all the great tips. I really like the classic Platinum prints and would like to try to simulate it as well as the early Selenium prints that were pretty nasty to do with the chemicals.
FYI color grade presets: Hex Color code for Selenium color is #777e7a and Platinum is hex code #E5E4E2
Crap. Now I have to learn a whole new system!
It's worth the ride for all of the new possibilities that will open up.
