- How does Ali make $4,6M per year selling online courses? And what about Kat and Justin? Let's dive in to learn about their multi-million dollar course business. Today's sponsor: uscreen.tv/?via=rued
Everybody wants to create a lucrative side hustle. One way is to get paid for what you know by selling courses online. But there's a lot to it.
I've chosen three experts for this-Ali Abdaal, Kat Norton, and Justin Welsh. They sell courses via RUclips, TikTok, and Linkedin for millions every year.
How did they build their followings on social media? How to convert that audience into an email list? And how do you sell courses to people who opted in for free stuff?
I admire each one of these online teachers, and it's humbling to see how simple their businesses really are. No rocket science - just a simple blueprint, and dedicated effort, year in and year out.
If you want to sell courses online, you need a course platform. And today's sponsor, Uscreen, is very likely one of the most modern options out there. Get started here: www.uscreen.tv/?via=rued
Hey man, awesome video, thanks for sharing. From somebody who is part of trading/investing for over a decade i can tell that the foundation of everything these guys are doing is trust, which is build on actually delivering value. My personal experience on online coaches and teachers (in the niche of trading/investing) is that most of them are scam artists, not because they actually want to scam you, but because they are selling knowledge they don't have and by doing so are building it with you paying them for that. So when they actually hit a solid income it isn't based on them being good at what they are teaching you, but being good in selling you something. This is the reason why - especially in the niche of finance - most coaches are being called scamers for a reason.
So what i am personally taking from your video is actually building that value. There is no magical formular behind success, you "just" have to deliver value, build trust on that and then sell people more value for some dollars which makes it a win-win. Great work, keep on going! 🙂
Yes, years of trust convert very well 🤗 if you pair it with a few essentials such as the strategy presented and a solid platform to build on.
As always Rued, your content is well thought out, fantastically presented and highly engaging.
Thank you for all your efforts.
Rued this is a seriously GREAT video! :) Your content is solid, and the comedic timing is on point. Keep it up!
Thanks a lot for putting this all together👍
For me it seems like the three most important ingredients for a successful creator career are: delivering valuable content on social platforms, doing that consistently and having a thought through funnel
You're welcome. Yes, there isn't really any dirty secret to all this. It takes intelligence, grit, and time to make it work.
You have simplified everything....brilliantly... God bless
Thanks Salmon 🙏🏻
Great video. The ideas are simple. Deplatforming seems to be the key.
Rued, Very Good Analysis, sir. Thank you.
Longevity. Pick a skill/niche, teach valuable information as you learn, create a course based on what people react to the most. Get sponsors. Use a free newsletter to mine emails and sell to them.
Rinse, repeat, update. Charge people for your time on zoom calls
That’s a solid framework 👍🏻
Thanks Rued, I've only got a small following but I'm selling my Video Games Animation course from it and it does work. My channel is growing slowly. As they say 'The money is in the list'
Great video, Rued! Please continue. Also, I like your accent :)
Haha, well, its hard to get rid of 🤗 Thanks!
@@RuedRiisCom You should not get rid of it. It's your feature )
I have a quick question for you:
I'm trying to get into email copywriting for Successful creatorpreneurs like yourself, what problems do you usually face with your emails when it comes to getting product sales?
9:37 everything you told was literally touched my heart
Just stumbled upon this earlier today. Thanks for all the good content! In one of your videos you mentioned you use iMovie. In another you are clearly using Vyond. Just curious what do you use for producing your final youtube videos such as this one? I see some Vyond assets but are you doing everything in that?
I’m assembling all the parts in Screenflow now - not iMovie anymore :)
“A flashlight” 😂😂😂 instantly subscriber.
Your video's are great. I love watching them. They are not just good but very helpful. The only criticism I have is that sometimes you get too close to the camera. It feels like you might head butt me through the screen lol
Thanks! That’s good feeeback - I try to keep it dynamic, so hopefully I also lean back sometimes 😅
Awesome video!
Inspired by your style as well 👌🏻
Amazing ✨
Thanks Ahmed. They’re really just hard working entrepreneurs who built a solid business 🤗
Good. Asking the hard questions. And are these creators telling you everything? And what they don’t tell you once you stop making content does the revenue slow? So you have to be tied to computer 24/7?
Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Nailed it 💚
Thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
This is good
Nice one. They just making money by selling course and surprise the course is about how to make money.
What a useless video. A bunch of things we already know. And then a pitch for Uscreen.
Thank you for spending the time leaving a comment. Now we both know this wasn’t for you.
And it’s that simple?🥲.. I think I need to watch this over again..
Simple, but not easy :)
