Absolute love for Iran from your brothers and friends in Greece! Both our countries will rise from their respective turmoils, as our civilizations are both ancient and persevering. May the Shah rest in peace.

As an American who has grown to love the Persian people and their beautiful culture I'm so saddened to see the state of affairs of Iran today. Iranians were friends and allies not so long ago. We had much to share and learn from each other. I hope people in America don't forget that the Iranian people desperately want a change to come about. Sadly it won't happen without a revolution of some sort. Thank you for posting this beautiful tribute.

Shah of Iran was truly noble compared to his European counterparts who exploit and undermine the liberties of other nations to save their false economies. Shah kept Iran secure, prospering and advancing, while setting a world record for economic growth. His legacy and achievements answer those who called him a dictator while having blood on their own hands.

the Shah was a powerful figure and many older Iranians still hold a high level or respect for him until this day! I hope the younger generations learn about this strong leader. He might have not been perfect, but he loved his country.

It feels like shit when my Jordanian friends always bragg and talk sooo much about Jordan and how free and stable it is.....As an Iranian, all I can do is stand there and listen. What the heck can we say now, we USED to be the greatest nation in the middle east? pshh If Iran was still under the Pahlavi family and a monarchy, Iran would have been better than Europe, let alone Arab countries...

Shah of Iran was a better King for his country than any President was for the United States... Thanks for nothing previous generation, now I can't visit my roots without being kept there and tortured. I must wait another 30 years or so before this regime that gets stronger every day finally falls so I can kiss the soil of a FREE Iran. Thanks previous generation, thanks DAD for betraying a loving King who was not perfect, but amazing for Iran. I shed tears of the fact I may never visit Iran ever.

As long as we have this kind of people who can't think my friend, we do have to suffer and be under pressure. It is still too soon for democracy in Iran. People must learn first what freedom is and how you earn it. As long as our people go to the mosque and pray and then steal from each ohter, we don't deserve some one like Shah.
    Once we will.

Shah is the good friend of Chinese people. In 1974 Asian game in Tehran, he insisted that China should join otherwise Iran would not hold this game and China had the first chance to join the Asian Game. Before his leaving in 1979, the last foreign president he met is the Chinese president Hua Guofeng.

It warms the heart to see the real Iranians. I am an Israeli, and only after meeting many Iranian people I realized that there is absolutely nothing in common between them and their government. I will never forget how hundred of thousands Iranian Jews who live in Israel have raised money after the big earthquake and the Iranian government turned it down! I hope that our people will understand that we have so much in common and make peace with each other. Amen.

Shah was a great man for the country and for his people. Iranians have always been like this, they never appreciate what they have, and when they lose it , they start to talk about it. WAKE UP YOU IRANIANS see what we were before and see what we are now. In his time all the world was looking at iranian nation as one great old nation, but now LOL they dont give a damn shit to any one of us , because of this stupid islamic regime and those who said we dont want shah. shame on all of them.
