Using Google Earth gives you good information for distances and terrain conditions. That is smart idea to plan your trip or not going to places better avoided. 🐯👍

@gizmocarr3093 Yes, the map feature allows you to choose the type of map you are looking at. They all have useful information, but the terrain maps and satellite maps are very handy.

@dand3329 When I lived in San Antonio, there were a lot of rattlesnakes. I lived about 14 miles south of the city out in the country. Even though I grew up in Houston, San Antonio was the first place in Texas where I encountered a rattlesnake in the outdoors.
