Aliens is my must watch movie 🍿
I'm usually not a huge fan of iron studios but they have their moments. This is a great representation for jaws fans.
They’ve been putting out so many sick stuff recently, and LOADS too

I don't collect movie concept sculpts but I have to admit. Iron studios really blew this one out of the water. Fantastic job with all those details and the look of the piece as a whole. I really dislike it when they make something that elaborate and don't include instructions on how to put it together. For the price the least they could do is take some Mattel models instructions for their miniature models of that boat and throw it in the box along with the sculpt. At least it would make for interesting read as you wonder why they didn't include the glue for the broken pieces. They did a phenomenal job with this piece in capturing the most thrilling moments of the movie. Really well done. Congratulations on getting it. The movie that usually catches my eye and pause to watch every time is Star Wars. Especially the original chapter IV The New Hope. Love the story and the introduction of the characters we know and love today. Thanks for sharing your Jaws sculpt/ model piece with us. Definitely has the X factor for sure.

not a fan of larger scale IS pieces but no one can deny that they are the masters of dioramas. had a few of them and the quality is always exceptional. definitely hope to get this locally at some stage.
I'm just now entering the world of collectibles such as this, but this one just blows me away. It's absolutely beautiful showing one of the most iconic scenes Spielberg has ever filmed.

Awesome piece and great movie!
The reason why Quint could not stop himself is because if you did not hear when quint tells the story of how his arm got hurt it is not useable as much. so, when the Oxygen tank hit his hand, it hurt his arm so much that it just completely shut off and that hand/arm was no longer usable. usually, you can't feel your arm after that so that's why he could not stop himself. you can also see quint grabs his knife with his left hand instead of right. you can also see when he slides down the deck, he tries to grip the side of the Orca but his hand hurts so bad that he can't. so that's why he could not stop himself.
Hulk. Boat deck is slippery when wet- especially at that angle. Also there was nothing to grab onto.
That’s a great piece! Jaws is up there but that movie for me is Predator.

Amazing piece. Braveheart is that movie for me. Also Robin Hood Prince of Thieves as an honorable mention, saw it 4 times in the theater when I was a really little kid so I have a lot of nostalgia for it.

Besides Jaws (and Jaws 3 in 3D which Im a sucker for all day) I'd say one sure remote dropper is Grizzly (1976). A bit obscure, but for those of us who saw Jaws in theaters all the subsequent ripoffs were must see. Grizzly is the king of all of them.
I like the way IS does water on their pieces. The shark itself looks great as well.

Two movies for me are Twister and Tremors. This is a pretty incredible piece, iron studios can really make some crazy pieces.
Don’t have cable at my house anymore but when my wife and I take the kids to visit my parents, I’ll usually watch whatever is on the AMC channel.
Love the statue.I think one scene I’d love to see is from spider man 3 when peter is battling to get the symbiote off his body in the bell tower

When I saw this pop up, I was thinking my comment would be something like "the scale is too small, you're going to need a bigger...". And then I knew you'd say something similar and I'd have to say something else. Growing up in the 80's Jaws was definitely a thing for me, but I didn't watch it repeatedly. Then with your assembly video you had the music but not the transition to the chase which is a bit criminal. I think Iron Studios did a great job with this and I'm always a bit envious of seeing homes with a custom cinema room in them. It would be awesome to have a setup like that with a couple of favourite movie pieces in it. You've asked about must-watch movies before but I forget which video. Coming back to the music though... John Williams. That guy is a freaking legend and success factory with things like Indiana Jones and Star Wars. The Jaws music buildup from being hunted into chase is just fear inducing. Terrifying.

Fantastic movie and super cool display piece. I recall when I was little one of my parents' friends had a number of nautical displays. I think this one might be the most epic, given the subject matter. For me if I catch a movie on and feel the need to just sit and watch it, that would be Batman Returns or Jaws.

Yea I completely agree about nameplates, we know that’s Jaws, with know that’s a Predator, we know that’s Alien, we know that’s Dragon Ball. They just make the statue look cheap having a big nameplate on them. They should be optional, should comes with something to cover the magnet hole if you don’t want to use it.
It really is one of the best movies of all time.

Love the "spoiler alert" for a near 50 year old movie. When I said that out loud it just hit me this movie is nearly 50 years old, that's crazy. Price is also crazy, that huge 1.4 met long Jurassic Park diorama they did was $2500. If the edition size was under 100, I could justify the price, but we'll never know. Still can't take away how awesome this piece is.
The Orca is the real star here. It's a good statue but way over priced in my opinion. Raiders of the Lost Ark is the movie I can't pass up. We need more Indy statues!
I would love to see some proper indy statues. Suprised no one has done it yet. Raiders with the balder for example. Easy purchase for me.

Oh just want to mention on the pulpit the walkway in the front I see you have it tucked under that brown block It's supposed to sit on top of it that's why you have the gap with a black piece underneath of it on the outside of the bow. I have built quite a few Orca boat models and know the details inside and out in my head, and for any loose detail parts you might just want to use a drop or two of CA glue (Super glue) So they won't fall out or get lost or broken.

Haha this is very different to what you usually have, it’s pretty cool looking, I love how they did the water, it looks amazing. I don’t know if it’s better than that Prime1 dinosaur statue, it looked amazing, but it’s hard to tell in the video.
Jaws is a top 10 film all time for me, so y'know, if money and space weren't an issue, this would definitely have been added. I'm gonna need a bigger bank account to buy this.

Quint slides down the deck as he could no longer hold on to Brody's hand, if you remember he sustained and injury in an arm wrestling contest, which he mentions in the Indianapolis scene.... great statue by the way 😊although I would weather those yellow barrels, they were very chipped with a lot of black showing in the film. Show me the way to go home....

There's no doubt this is an awesome piece, and that it has the X Factor. But because of the sheer scale of the boat, it almost makes Jaws feel small in comparison to me. Where in the movie we get really intense close ups that make him feel gigantic.

“Here’s to swimmin with bow legged woman” lol 😂 great movie, great scene. One of my favorite movies, got to see it at the drive in theater when it came out. Nice piece but I would have preferred a larger base, the boat just kind of hangs out in the middle of nowhere.
Also “Bruce” seems to b a little too large in scale
Nice model. That bow platform is vastly oversized in length though. It's way too big and expensive for me.
This is absolutely amazing. I’m getting sick of collecting figures over statues. Statues look so much better. Don’t have to worry about articulation. Figures falling over. Ugly joints etc. I think I wanna sell off most my figs and make tbe switch
I started with Hot Toys. No regrets switching to statues.
My first thought, the price is ridiculous unless you are a diehard Jaw's fan, or the mint size was like ten... The details weren't all that impressive either for the price. Movie room piece for sure though. A nice change from the Marvel and DC pieces.

Cool piece. These big Iron Studios dio pieces are really ambitious like the Rex a/b set I have. It's a shame they "jumped the shark" on pricing lately though. Both rex sets combined cost less than this

If it wasn’t for this film, you would never have a Steven Spielberg! I’m pretty sure the budget was blown three times over to make jaws, and I kind of think the studio almost went bankrupt because of it lol. The best part was the fact that the shark couldn’t go underwater, and whenever it did, it would start seizuring Lol.
Iron Studios has good ideas, but they fall short in facial sculptures and painting work, not to mention their ridiculously high prices for some statues. Their 1/10 scale Batmobile costs more than HotToys' 1/6 scale one.
However, despite everything, this statue still looks good. The Power Rangers diorama is also very well done.

This thing is pretty cool the attention to detail is awesome I said this before but McFarlane Toys makes one probably a little smaller than this one but it's like $6 to 700 nowadays inbox and that's a toy
