in my experience, i would recommend mustang gt as a starter drift car, sports hard tires, the car is really cheap in price and is really easy to get sideways without effort and great for practice
@@playlists1168 you see the hard part is maintaining the drift and the mustang has a lot of torque and spins it wheels easily so you should practice a little, try to do a whole turn smoothly, then go in a public server and drift
@@anmolpanesar the thing is that I'm pretty good at drifting, but my tandem skills are just crap bro.. it's exactly how you wrote it, I have to maintain the drift, but it's so hard to stay with someone, I always end up hitting the dude in front of me, or spinning out myself

if you want to learn basic steering try to go to colorado springs lake n2 and choose a porsche 911 turbo 1981 itll make sure youll get better at steering techniques

My technuique for drifting is right before you start drifting you press handbrake so you car swings itself to the side and then just control it with the gas and steering.

Try counter steering and also manipulate the throttle to try and avoid spinning out. If you feel like you are spinning out too much try change the way you use the throttle to avoid upsetting the balance of the vehicle. good luck my doode

Are we trying to explain physics within Gran Turismo that is abysmal with drifting? and giving control tutorial tips to people in the comments to have a wheel just amateur and doesn't even translate the same.. going into a full lock drift on controller is way different on Wheel. On wheel you pretty much have to saw at it because Gran Turismo doesn't favor full physics because it's more of a circuit racing simulator..

I try it but I keep spinning it when I try to stay close to someone else, I see them braking when they tandem, but when I do that I spin out
