The swirl is called the Clyde slide after Clyde from Vibrant Soap here on YT. And you don’t have to put the sodium lactate with the lye. Chemical it makes No different. You Can put the SL and kaolin clay in with the oils and mix Them before You add the lye.

It’s best to mix the Kaolin CLAY in a little bit of water blend it with a little bit of oil then you can mix it in your batch
