I love seeing the old Armenian quarter. Thank you very much. I have a close friend who is an Armenian priest very high up in that church. He is, among other things, an assistant to the Armenian Catolicos in Lebanon ( this is one of their Popes...they have two- One in Antilias, Lebanon, and one in Yerevan, Armenia) . Wonderful people who have suffered much. 🙏✝️🤝🕯💙🇮🇱🤍❤️ Vini

We’ve been to the Armenian Quarter many, MANY times. But even though as Armenian Americans, i don’t remember seeing some of the places you went. But i do remember the Armenian Khachkar, in fact, i have a “Singing khachkar”. It plays an Armenian song every time the sun hits it. It played songs for us twice a day. But especially a long time atago 12 noon ( allegedly the time Christ died) and for some reason at 4 pm (1600°)
I adore Jerusalem but really enjoyed staying in the Armenian Convent.

Maybe it's because Jesus was crucified at around noon time and taken off the cross around 4:00 but I'm just guessing.

@@richardvass1462 Excellent thought! Now I will get chills each day at noon. I’m glad you mentioned this. It made me remember as a child, we didn’t speak a single word on Good Friday from 12noon until 4 pm (that was a tradition in Armenian Catholic school). Thanks 🙏🏼
