Brian’s double flip transfer was the main highlight here, so was Jeanjeans double whip transfer totally blind to double flip. Logan’s runs are always beyond predictable. Rims run..gimme a break, busdriver fest pretty much

Kevin Peraza should have been top three and Anthony Jean Jean was unreal. definitely deserved the win.
KP is the happiest rider on the planet, he has always got a huge smile on his face, he makes me want to ride every time I watch him ride

@@BeyondIgnition Haha! Yeah, i liked KP best too, but he meant 2Jean obviously, who should have won for that beautiful quarter to quarter blind transfer alone. He's the only one that did it i think.
@@simonkampfer33 the only one doing the transfer, right into a massive double backie. 2Jean rode extremely well, i would believe it if you told me he won. this was a hard call, it could have been like 4 or 5 different guys.
Anthony clearly got robbed but congrats to all for making it out alive

Now i‘am 50 years old. In the early 80s we make weelys, jump over every Sandhill und 4 or 5 Person, till the Moment our Frames of our bikes broke. We think, we are the greastest😉. But What i See here is f…… aewsome. Greetings from germany.

Great seeing such amazing riding it seems like BMX has bumped up a level, great to see the crowd hyped up too it makes a massive difference
Kevin Perez is sooo good and so versatile
For the first 9 spots I kept going "how the hell is this not top spot", but kept getting blown away by whatever came next and it made sense whether or not I agreed with the exact placement... until the last two, Rim and Logan should have been like, 8th and 9th. Does Logan get points for tricks you see him do on youtube but not actually do in his runs?

That was great riding from all the competitors, I enjoyed seeing the event great stuff everyone. 🙂

Just like another person commented, starting at 8th place I found myself thinking "How is this not the winning run!?" and sure thing I was blown away by the next rider wondering the same, untill Logan and Rim (2nd and 1st). Those two I felt should have been around 8th place but other than them judging 8th through 3rd would be impossible to do accurately. Every single rider crushed it. It's purely subjective, amazing riding guys.
Yeah, was constant stepping up until then. There was that twix 360 (seriously I can't even comprehend that, needs more love). Then a goddamn double backflip transfer, then that massive double whip blind transfer. And heap of madness in between... then Logan just did his safety Logan run (not that it's not amazing but like, all those other guys stepped up big time since 2019) and Rim didn't even have his standard 20 foot heart in your mouth invert (which admittedly probably costs him points apparently, eats into the truck variation time apparently).

Weird judging - High Class of Riding = Lots of robbery
First the spine was horribly judge. Now this. How did the guy in 3rd not get first place. He was explosive and hitting lines no one touched. Fix should’ve placed easily also. This has been the worst judging I seen in a long time.
Trust me this is the worse judging I've ever seen in 25 years of riding. Rimu first place? Sketchy as f*CK. Not really that high. Hanging up and landing flat. Judges should be ashamed man

Because Logan 100% had better runs. More tricks, harder tricks and more variety. You’re delusional if you think he should have won especially with that slam. If this was help anywhere else, he wouldn’t have even been top 5, I’d put money on that.

AJJ should have won this, no doubt about it. Massive transfer to double flip? Yes please. Not sure why Rim scores so high - nothing special compared to the other whip/bar kids and he is no where near as smooth as Logan
It's funny that you call Logan a smooth driver, because I think Logan always rides like the "ax in the woods" and doesn't look easy and relaxed at all.

I've noticed this over a few park vids I've watched (just getting into watching park comps, and BMX comps in general) but I see most riders have at least 2 pegs, but I've seen only a few times where anyone has used their pegs at all? Is it just because these courses don't allow it, or do they run pegs all the time and don't want to make the bike feel weird?
Rimu deserved it! All Amazing riders. Watch rimus run at .25 speed. Trip barspin alleyoop and reverse the barsping direction. Insane

What a great contest with some quality riding, I don’t agree with the judges though.
In my opinion if you do this criteria Anthony would’ve won.

I split the tricks up into 2 sections as you can’t have a opposite triple whip in the same category as a no hander air.
I scored Logan low on primary tricks as he may have done a 720 bar to bar and opposite triple whip but Rimu had more bangers in total.
With Anthony he did more bangers then Logan as well. But the difficulty of Logan’s bangers get the same score as a triple whip transfer, flip triple whip, a triple whip over the spine and a double flip. As double flips don’t score high like they used to and you can only do so many triple whips.
It was extremely close but I don’t think Anthony got scored fairly at all.

3 friends of me went to this event. They all 3 agree that Nakamura was the best... So maybe the edit is not fair with him.

Rim Nakamura didn't do anything but old Ryan Nyquist tricks and Ryan would have crushed him also he was only maybe 12th Place there was so many better riders so many better runs

By far the worse judges ever, incredibly disrespectful to the effort the riders gave.
