Grabbed these for 199$USD at the microcenter in NYC, I gotta say, it was a steal, I'm loving it. The fact it comes with a good quality Vesa desk mount is amazing by itself.
This monitor has 1100:1 contrast . Any monitor with LG ips has 750:1 contrast. It also has 500 nits of brightness in hdr, and 450 in native mode. The LG has 350 max.It does not have the LG panels inside.
IMO all of these old reviews need to come down, This monitor stayed at it's MSRP for like 2 months then dropped like crazy and became an excellent deal.
You realize that not being able to output 10bit color @ 165hz is not the monitors fault right? I've yet to find a monitor that can do it. I'm pretty sure it's limited by the DP version (or cable) data transfer rate. My $1200 LG monitor can't. Also, I believe this is a rebranded HP Omen 27i so yes it's probably LG's Nano IPS. The OSD is identical but the logo has been changed. The 27i was much better built, however.
I have one and I gotta say It's by far the best decision I've made buying a monitor I got it at micro center for 179 which is ridiculous the stand alone is amazing and very very well made I have a bunch of stands but this by far is the best and for the price nothing can beat it atleast in my opinion for the price and quality if you find one at micro center for cheap buy it you will not regret it.
It's probably a rebranded HP Omen 27i which was around $500 new a year or so ago, and is basically a rebranded LG Nano IPS panel. I have one and it's a pretty bad ass monitor. I would still be using it if I hadn't landed an Ultrawide LG 34GP for super cheap. I see a ton of similarities including the exact same OSD just with a HyperX logo where the Omen one normally was.
In Brazil, it's priced at 350 dollars. The others you recommended are much higher in terms of value. Would it be a good idea to pick up this Hyper for 350 dollars?
If you want audio output on a gaming monitor, then I don't know what to tell you... 🤭 interesting review though, covered some stuff that others didn't and vice versa

Today the price of Armada 27 is the same as the price of LG 27gp850p-b + arm Hama. which of these monitors do you recommend given that the price is the same?
@@gaspardv695 I’m debating just getting it. Better contrast ratio than both, and just as good response and input lag, if not better. Seems like a safe choice but I’m scared to make that gamble lol

@qwertyboguss thanks for the answer, I am currently playing on a 1440p 75hz 4ms monitor with a normal stand, do you recommend the upgrade(I play on ps5)?
this guy's complaining about a whole lot of nothing. if all the shit he's saying is stiff and hard to move was any smoother, the monitor arm would droop and not hold its position

So I’m currently looking at this monitor at its current price of 199$ so I’m not sure if that is a great price to performance
