Not going to lie, if I was a player I would be terrified and laughing hilariously at this xD Maybe you should have some harpoons further down inside the worm to attach onto people to keep them trapped. I fear the poor creature will lose its prey when it open its mouth when hunting for more. (Also I’m copying a suggestion down below) maybe you could have multiple harpoons so you can grab more than one person (and maybe use them to keep people trapped inside?)
