cheers mate! havent been down at all this season sadly...on the list for next season! living in Chch now been mainly exploring the arthurs pass area and cragieburn clubbies. great terrain but i do miss the remarks!
i was recently up at mt olympus for the freeride junior tour, very fun mountain but wish i had more time to ski other fields around the area!@@joecollinson6232
yep not exactly hero snow!would be amazing to get back on that line in some nicer conditions and ski it more aggressivley but not always the easiest to find good conditions in New Zealand
Well that was a surprise. I was expecting some suicide run bombing off of cliffs, but instead it was someone sensibly making their way down the hill in a sane and commendable fashion. Good job :) I still prefer watching insane people risk their lives in the name of entertainment though lol. This was recommended to me by the RUclips algorithm, but I see very few people have been here yet. Hopefully that will change soon. It's an oddly relaxing video to watch :)
haha thanks man! yep the firmness of the snow definitely meant sensible skiing was the order of the day - is often the reality of ski mountaineering in NZ! hopefully can get back there at some point in some blower pow and create some more death defying content ;D
Very nice, highly technical descent! Huge respect.
cheers! full engagement top to bottom!
epic dude
🙌
I think I heard people talking about you on a chair lift at mt hutt lol
haha hopefully positive reviews
nice to see your posting again, do you think you'll come back to queenstown soon?
