Great shave Brah! I appreciate the shout out 😎👍🏾 I’m glad you enjoyed the Barbasol 1919, it’s a non lathering cream but it seemed slick enough by applying it with the brush. Have a good week brah 🙏🏾
You are 100% right. Technique and the vast assortment of blades, soaps and other grooming products make wet shaving so interesting 👍🏽 thanks for watching!
Hey Tony one tip I can tell you when you are going against the grain on your neck if you are shaving the right side tilt up your head towards and when you are shaving on left side tilt up your head towards right by this you are going to have a close bbs with less irritation
Another fine shave, as so much is going on, have u done a shavelogic S5 versus Defender comparison? if I missed it, can’t find it, if u have please attach link. Cheers🍻
Tony, I love what you said about shaving being a learning process. It is so true. Every product is different. The first time I used a Feather blade, I cut myself. I did not realize how sharp the blades were compared to the other double edge blades that I had used. Also, I remember seeing the guys who founded Manscaped on Shark Tank. It looks like they have a great product.
Bravo, Tony, another great shave! I like the Barbasol 1919, and it seems you got a decent lather considering that Barbasol markets itself as the first brushless cream. To me, it behaves more like a shave oil: I never add more product, only more water for slickness. Hope all is well and Carla and I wish you a happy August!
The first shaving cream I ever used was Barbasol, also brut deodorant and aftershave haha in the one comment section I recommended duke cannon ice cold shower scrub, I’d also like to recommend method men sea and surf body wash, smells and works great!
As far as I know, the Barbasol cream are meant not to be used for brush lathering because Frank Shields (Barbasol founder) were having allergic reaction to shaving brush and that's why he invented the non-lathering cream in the first place. I've read in a forum where they tried to lather this cream with a brush and they said it doesn't work that well and very oily too. I assume their lather looks like yours in this video.
Great info and back story on the 1919. Frank should have used a synthetic brush like I do, but they probably didn’t exist back then :) thanks for watching 👍🏽
