The worlds biggest second hand book market is in Kolkata on colelge street. I had to go and pay a visit to see this. I promise this is a market unlike any other, simply unique and there's a book for every one out there.

You walked past Hindu School (ESTD 1817), Presidency College (ESTD 1817), Hare School (ESTD 1818) and Calcutta University (ESTD 1857). And yes, there was a time when these institutions defined academic excellence of the country. It is worth an episode just for these institutions :). In a country where there is so much hatred between communities, races, castes, regions Kolkata always stays away from such irrational hatred..Kolkata is a city with both historical heritage and mordern growing infrastructure. Kolkata or Calcutta, the British Capital of India (pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar,Sri Lanka to Singapore)!! And there were a time during early1900s Begalis began to educate themselves so much that in administrative level competitive examination they got admitted in huge level more than Britishers! And our Beloved Netaji Subhash topped in that exam..later he rejected it ❤️...these were the reasons behind book collections and obviously British Colonial had to choose Delhi as Capital...can't handle Bengali Revolutionaries ❤️❤️❤️ jai Hind 🇮🇳
