Tender Shoyu Pork with Bok Choy and Aloha Shoyu

    Tender shoyu pork with sautéed bok choy and king mushroom
    1 1/2 lbs pork belly
    2 cups Ahola shoyu Gluten free spicy Teri
    1 cup water
    3 cloves garlic
    1 oz ginger
    2 piece star anise
    1/2 pound of bok choy
    4 oz king mushroom
    brown pork belly on both sides about 2 minutes on each side
    Remove pork from pan, and deglaze with water, and aloha shoyu GF Teri sauce
    Bring liquid mixture to a boil, and place garlic, ginger and star anise in pot
    Return pork belly to pot and lower heat to a simmer and braise for 1 - 1 1/2 hours
    Clean bok choy and slice king mushroom length wise
    Saute vegetables in a hot pan till season with salt and pepper
    On a plate, place bok choy off center of plate and king mushrooms on top of bok choy.
    Cut pork belly to bite size pieces and place adjacent to bok choy.
    Drizzle reduced sauce from pan on top of pork and serve….
    Optional….. with a torch gun or braiser, flame pork to caramelize for added flavor .
