Wow! What an amazing video. the visuals, the music, the editing. Great job you guys!! A million times better to view than your days inside an old motorhome in a Cracker Barrel parking lot. Thanks for taking me on an adventure without leaving my own home here in Billings, Montana sitting in my office. THANK YOU BOTH!!!
The place where the food will set your mouth on fire, the traffic will test your patience, the wildlife will enchant you, and the beaches will make you question if you accidentally stepped into a postcard! I visited it few years ago to film for our TV show and its one of the many countries I find so fascinating!
21:09 Kithul treacle is used as a sweetener in both Sri Lankan and Western cooking. Toddy is extracted from the inflorescence, and is considered somewhat powerful compared to toddy extracted from other palm trees.
You guys are absolutely hilarious as always! What a video👏🏾👏🏾. I'm a bit behind but gives me a chance to now binge and catch up😎😁. Also I love the little deleted scenes at the end, they always give me quite a laugh haha😂😂
You had me at ‘24 degrees’…..😍 Sri Lanka, the handsome people, the beautiful nature, how laidback it is. I’m sold. As a Kiwi, I’m not sure I can do ‘high density humanity’ anymore. As you say ‘travelling is tiring’ but I think we could handle Sri Lanka. 😀
From Ella, take a drive through Bandawela, Diyatalawa, Ohiya via Boralanda and drive across Horton plains national park to Nuwaraeliya. This route is not known to many foreigners. But trust me it's one of the most scenic routes
Explane SRI LANKA Sri Lanka, an island nation in South Asia, is known for its diverse landscapes, including tropical beaches, lush forests, and scenic mountains. It has a rich history, with influences from various cultures, including Indian, Portuguese, Dutch, and British. The country's official languages are Sinhala and Tamil, and it's famous for its tea production and ancient cultural sites such as Sigiriya and the city of Kandy. Sri Lanka gained independence from British colonial rule in 1948 and has a democratic government. Sri Lanka boasts stunning natural beauty, with a diverse range of landscapes. The country is renowned for its pristine beaches, surrounded by turquoise waters, palm trees, and coral reefs, making it a paradise for beach lovers. Inland, you'll find lush rainforests, rolling hills covered in tea plantations, and scenic waterfalls. Sri Lanka's central highlands, including the picturesque town of Ella, offer breathtaking mountain vistas. The island is also home to an abundance of wildlife, with national parks like Yala and Wilpattu teeming with elephants, leopards, and various bird species. Srilankan people are always welcoming! That's how human kind should be. Tuorists feel it specially because they have not been treated well in other countries.
Yes as you said even I wandered why they recommended you to visit Badulla, there’s nothing much to do in badulla. Why you didn’t go to the little adams peak in ella? Anyway I’m glad you enjoyed your time in Ella.
Ella is famous for that centuries old railway bridge built by British and the breath taking views surrounding it. If you wants to go there it is best to go by train from Colombo, because it covers some of the most beautiful sceneries and very popular among foreigners. Best option is to go second class as it is over crowded in the third class and in first class you can not open the windows. Anyway you need to go there earlier to grab a seat by the windows. I do not recommend any one to get in the train on the way somewhere unless you want to go standing all the way.
Going half way around the world to see a train crossing a bridge seems a bit too much 😊 I do like the pacing of your recent videos. You shared your experience rather than just listing the tourist spots. I feel like I am going through the ups and downs of your experience with you.
guys use 1st class train not the observation. 1st class has A/C, better seats and comfortable journey. Observation class is old school and needs renovation.

10:39 -- Hope the doggie woggie does not get made mince-meat of. Not too sure I'd advise just sitting on the side of the tracks, either.
13:14 -- Painful reminder, hey!

The bottle of Jameson you saw in the tuk tuk , Almost all sri lankan tuk tuk drivers use empty liquor bottles to keep their drinking water.

U could have seen the famous Dunhinda Ella... and the Ancient Muthiyanganaya Buddhist Temple (rumoured to have been visited by the Buddha himself)
Is it similar to Ubud?
Is it safe to leave your luggage in the tuk tuk while you are exploring/having lunch etc?
That ella bridge drone limitations are new😮
9arch bridge was built with bricks by locak mason. No iron was used.
There are beehives under the bridge. The "buddymoon" was attacked. Just be careful
