Ayngelina! All I can say is WOW! Ive not been interested in visiting India, Sri Lanka is definitely my kind of place. Ella is so gorgeous❤. Love your the Green Lantern.
So Sri Lankans hate it when you make comparisons to India. But you often hear Sri Lankans make comparisons so it makes me laugh. All of this to say is that India is an amazing country and I love visiting BUT you need a lot of energy. It’s gigantic country and each place is different but it’s not easy to travel. It’s not relaxing. Sri Lanka is easy. It’s small. People are friendly and helpful. The roads and infrastructure are better. It’s much cleaner and more like South East Asia in that way. People are much more relaxed and even people coming up to you to sell you something will leave you alone if you decline. We had a couple incidents in India off camera where people were really terrible once they discovered Alan was Muslim but in Sri Lanka it was never a problem. For me it’s important that Alan never feels unsafe or discriminated against for his religion. So he also felt comfortable in Sri Lanka. The only thing that was an issue for us with the internet, it’s way too slow for RUclipsrs who need to upload videos. I would consider staying months if I thought I could work there. I knew going there it was bad so I prepared with the Indonesia three part series to run while I was there. But we will go back to show more. I just need to plan ahead again so I have enough videos scheduled 😊
Oh lovely mountain scenery! the skies don't look grey and you shouldn't be expecting rain throughout the day. Those yellow cosmos flowers, don't they remind you of home in summer.
You know in the mountains things can change so quickly, it started raining lightly on the mountain, but enough to make it slippery so when the sun came out we just waited for the roads to dry a bit. But honestly I was surprised to see the sun because all the photos and video I see of the region is with clouds. They were actually really challenging to shoot because they were so bright. I now carry an ND filter for these kinds of days because I wish it hadn't been so bright in my camera.
I think you took the not the famous road to the Lipton's Seat. This is the exact road which took me and my wife to visit there and even though the road is bumpy this is the most beautiful road to Lipton.
You might be right, I could see there were two routes and went with the one Google Maps recommended. We did see white tour vans on the route as well so we didn't even consider the other route.
So it’s mostly Ceylon black tea which is the former colonial name of Sri Lanka but also a lot of that is Orange Pekoe which is just a quality grade of that. But there are also lots of small artisanal growers who make green, oolong and other varieties. The crazy thing is that originally it was a coffee country but one year they had a horrible crop and switched to tea. To fuel production the British brought many Tamils from India to the highlands to work on the tea plantations as indentured workers/slaves. But these are not the same as Tamils in the north who were originally from Sri Lanka.
Tourists know little about Namunukula town just a ten kilometers away at Passara road. It is an undiscovered heaven with for reaching sights of mountains and the giant mountain of Namunukula.
Thank you, Ayngelina! 🙌It's super to get the hang of it. We will keep a brand new Bajaj three-wheel chariot ready for your next Sri Lanka trip 🇱🇰 or you can even catch us in Cambodia. 🇰🇭
When sitting at a table I use a Sony zv1 but when out about walking it’s a Osmo pocket 3. No colorgrading and I actually decided to use filters on the Osmo after this video because it struggles with bright cloudy days and also sometimes the blue sky can be a bit too turquoise.
Yes it’s almost like an iPhone colour which is heavily saturated. We had to adapt the Sony settings a bit so they aren’t totally out of place but you can still see a difference, particularly in blues.
@@ayngelina yes…. Ravana said nothing happen with Sita…. Somehow sita had sooo much fun with Ravana secretly… Rama got to know the situation and Send a poisonous arrow… still Ravana is sleeping and will not get up….

Your presentations are super, so clear and interesting
Thanks! I really enjoy putting them together.
The view is incredible! I love the scenery and the tea plantations are gorgeous! Forgive my ignorance but what kind of tea were they growing?
