Lens cloth, wet wipes, something to fidget with and a cooler with water soaked towels getting chilled are a few of the things I’ve found to be clutch at matches. All for the purpose of mental clarity.
Piet is absolutely crushing it!!!
This was an excellent video. Confirmed pro tips. I feel I did well I have all of it... just on a super budget. I hope to work my way up to your level. Note: I have the first aid in the truck and have been thinking of integrating it into the bag. Thank you for showing me how important it is to have on hand. These bags/cases sure fill up fast and get heavy quickly. Saftey first.
Some things that a must to pack for me as a rookie are wet wipes, lens cleaner and most of all are a sense of humour and patience. Great video! Thanks Piet 🤙🇨🇦
Never seen the Garmin case, that’s pretty handy. I’m still waiting to see more from the new labradar.
Good stuff, Piet. I am very new to this still, but I carry about the same items, plus about 4 times as much stuff that I never need or use, but I still take with me every time, lol.
I just did a match this morning! I had some issues with my Kestrel, but after the match I think me and my friend got to figure it out. It keeps losing it's calibration and giving me wrong direction readings. I ended up doing most stages manually and guessing the wind directions. I did decent. Little over 50% of the max score. Had a few good stages and then 3 or so that I was just off the side of the targets. I think when I get my Kestrel lined up better I will be doing much better!! I ended up 4th overall, so I'm happy.
Always appreciate the info you share. Have a great rest of the month, and good luck on your next match!!
Close to my bag, dont have the bino tho, running an Bushnell 10x mono tuben with mil in it. Wide FOV and easy to see hits and vapor trails in it. My most ess is the H2O need it to funktion. snacks is ok but without H2O all falls appart.
Bug spray Piet..👍
Haribo gummies and beef jerky/biltong are necessary snacks, I don’t go shooting without them.
Also I have been packing Dry Hands for those times when it’s wet or hot and my hands are sweaty, the stuff is a life saver.
That Audi first aid kit probably comes with it's own docter as well😂
Thanks Pieter. May your arm heal and my you shoot better and better.
Thanks for the info.
Thank you for sharing!
Nice Piet! I'm slowly working my way towards competing in a PRS match here in the States and have watched a bunch of your PRS videos for ideas on what to get and how to prepare. Still have a way to go as I really need to dial in my shooting first, as well as my loads but slowly getting there. Thanks Piet!!
Get out there and do it. We had a shooter show up to a pro match for his first match. Some shooters ended up putting one of there scopes and chassis on his rifle to help him out and get him hitting targets. Shoot what ya bring, bring what you got.
@@kennymac198130 That's awesome that people are helping out. I'm about as green as it gets to shooting bolt guns and my buddy has offered to take me out and teach me some stuff. Need to take him up on his offer.
@@HedgeMaster26 do it. Where are you located?
What BAG are you using currently?
I would absolutely love to try prs. I'm just not sure I could physically get into some of the positions required due to a couple back fusions. 😢
What range bag are you using to carry all of this Piet?
Excellent video. The only thing I would add to your load out is a packet of wet wipes. I take wet wipes to my shooting matches of all disciplines and normally end up sharing them round so people can clean off the grime of shooting (powder, mud, blood etc.) before they eat and so forth.
For sure, keep them in the car and used them to help a few people! Glad Im not the only one 👌🏼
I can't help but notice you intenionally left out a secret piece of gear...those Hi Viz shoes! 😝. But seriously, I enjoy the content you put out. I will be checking on some of the gear you sell as I am needing a few bits.
Hehehe, my wife hates the shoes 🤣🤣🤣

What range bag do you use to store all that?
A shemagh, hat.
Do you prefer running ranger finder and binos or binos with ranger finder and AB software in it?
jou intro met al die impact calls het my sommer depressed gemaak... ek het besluit om iemand saam my te vat as ek jag en impact skree na elke skoot.. al mis ek.. net om beter te voel :D
Sig 10k binoculars
Wat van kry vir jou n d#&*@ keppie!!! LOL 😂 Great Video Piet😉👍🏼
What bino pack is that?
Don’t see those chamber flags on the website?
Dammit Ill circle back and post link soon
Got a warbird I need to order on Monday, so hoping this comes soonish
Gatorade or electrolytes is a must! It gets f#&&n hot in New Mexico!
Hey piet hook me up with one of your 4 port brakes in 5/8x24😁😁😁so freakin sexy!
The Garmin is excellent!!! Setup time is stupid fast and easy. Doesn’t drop shots like the labradar. I won’t ever use the labradar and probably the magnetospeed ever again.
