    I know this comment is years late, but this is the best and clearest instruction on RUclips for tying a lanyard.

    Video was more helpful than I thought. I know how to finish 550 cord ends with a lighter but the tip to pull your fingers towards the tip really cleans it up nicely.

    I love this video! It is informative and, unlike some other videos, you actually know what you're doing! I hope that you make some more videos like this. I am going to put this lanyard on all of my knives!

    Good video, just put one on my RAT 3 and it worked out nice. One safety suggestion, probably best not to do this with an exposed blade.

    That's a hangman's knot. Also works as a wrap for rope ends.
